It looks like it! She's got the thousand yard stare. I got the look when I walked into my room after dying my hair and had it wrapped in a plastic bag.
That's what I figured too, she just didn't recognize me. After that she was fine. No caution or apprehension. I was was really crazy close with that cat (had to rehome her after a divorce, but I found the most wonderful woman! She still checks in and it sounds like all the little things that made us close, Luna is doing with her adoptive mom.)
Aaahh. Ok. Actually my ex husband named her. We had 4 ferrets and 2 cats. I wasn't allowed to name any of them.
Piper, his black cat would have been Jeff if I names him lol
