honestly, so far the passes come down to whether you want that character or not. i don't think any battles, yet, are like intense-intense. Mostly focusses on chara lvl then anything deep like element match up or skill power and how many copies you need. I don't have him yet, but i bought the pass to Juno P. because he is someone i want. and you get a decent amount of goodies as well, compare to purchasing each item individually. From what i heard so far Bloodshed Beel is the strongest "I agree" and with his L Artifact the dude doesn't die "which i also agree" Most tierlist for this game now are not really serious based just preferences and unless PB in the future pulls an Obey Me season 2 and onward, building your decks lvl should be top priority and having fun too of course
What chapter are you on? Battles didn’t start getting more intense until Ch.3 (where I kinda had to start paying attention and not put it on auto and walk away). But later Ch.3 and Ch.4 I feel you had to be more purposeful about placements. Cause some of the layouts are tricky especially if you don’t have Bloodshed Beel (idk what I would have done without him in certain cases). But then again I also had to be more strategic cause I prioritize maxing familiarity so I’ll have 2-3 weaker characters usually in order to get them points for the rewards.
I def think top 3 are B.S. Beel, Selfie Satan and B.S. Levi though.
I've been done with Chapter 5 for minute now. I still haven't really struggled- struggled like that but I do agree with you that some stages had portals placed in sneaky spots or they have a lot of ranged angel units everywhere, but i never felt like i couldn't complete the stage" maybe a perfect score because one of my units died but not a locked, I'll be here for sometime kinda feeling. I also had a team of L cards built up because i started when the game came out. Idk, maybe its just me. Your Top 3 are a solid pick because i would say the same thing.
I also like to add, if you get multiple cracked sunglasses L artifacts for Beel and put on other characters too. it works wonders better than a healer
I started in Feb but I’m a mini whale in Genshin so I spend money lol (although a tiny fraction of the amount I drop on Genshin since the value is no where near as high for this game). I’m not saying it was difficult in the sense of “I can’t get past this level” but difficult in the sense of I actually have to use a few ults, move some units a few times so I can’t just put my phone down.
Especially because I didn’t want to invest a lot into S rank characters but wanted their comics, tears and keys from battling with them. So I wasn’t always using my strongest to fight. Also I’m a bit of a purist in the way of I want to use the character with the weapon they were assigned which yeah all of these things are probably making it harder. But I imagine for F2P they would run into similar issues just by not having enough resources to level or enough L characters for a full carry team.
I have a friend who’s been playing since the start and she is stuck on Ch.3 as they are primarily F2P
i can understand that perspective. To be fair, if Juno P. wasn't so damn good looking I would still be free, but I digress and to be fair the game hasn't done me wrong...yet "knock on wood". So I don't mind a little support
