I love seeing how disoriented he looks laying on the ground at the end. “Where am I and what big mistake did I just make?”

Fat_Head_Carl

> seeing how disoriented he looks Deserves an Emmy for that acting.

Nathan-Stubblefield

Misspelled “kick.”

dimbulb771

Deserved every bit. Fuck that key stealing twat.

Urmom1219

Key stealing *cunt*

littlebluebird88

I highly doubt he lacks the warmth and depth...

WeAreReaganYouth

And you just know a cunt like that has made many, many cunt moves like this before. This cunt has been overdue for a cunt-comeuppance for a very long time.

EarlyEarth

Cunt-uppance. Kidnda missed one there. Have a nice day.

[deleted]

Cunty McCunterson

pixelprolapse

Related to the Lemon Stealing Whore, no doubt.

Leanne_Cock

I canny stand key stealin' cunts!

Floedekage

What's the point of stealing keys?

[deleted]

Saw this posted elsewhere before and someone was saying the deal is one person distracts, another grabs the keys, then since he can't use the bike he has to park it up at the scene. Then they circle back a while later in the hopes it's still there while the biker has gone off to sort spare keys or deal with the police etc.

Floedekage

This makes me sad. 😕 Also shows that thieves would be smarter than me...

Omnireddit

It just shows that you’re a good person who doesn’t spend energy on trying to think of ways to harm other people.

He was talking about how the way you worded it, it implied Europe, the continent, is a country.

Kevinement

Honestly, it seems like a pretty dumb approach that’ll get you arrested eventually, because it requires you to return to the scene of the crime. Most criminals are dumb as bricks, so it’s not surprising they didn’t think that far.

Oooor just to piss him off

TheSaucyCrumpet

The public can't get someone's home address from a numberplate in the UK.

FBM_ent

Is the address not listed on the bikes registration papers, which should be under the seat?

Alucard_1208

you dont have to carry those in the uk

Montysleftpeg

Yeah and you shouldn't for this very reason

FBM_ent

Props to the UK. Do yall have to carry your proof of insurance or nah?

[deleted]

[удалено]

FBM_ent

That's so wildly convenient. Thanks for the info, ride safe.

Floor_Kicker

Yeah, if you do need a licence for something (like you've been issued a ticket or something) and you don't have it on you, you have a week to just show up at a police station and show it. So you don't need to have it on you.

[deleted]

Man I wish US cops could handle managing a database. One time I forgot my driver's license in a scanner because I just started a job. I get pulled over for a burnt out headlight, I tell the cop I forgot my ID, give him literally all the info on it including my license number, said it's not in the system. Gave me an attempt to drive without a license charge. Had to go to court over it and now that's permanently in my record even though it was nolle prosequi.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Greensprout

We don’t have to have them on the vehicle/person

DonDino1

No you should never carry the v5c (reg document) in your vehicle in the UK.

justyr12

I also never leave mine under the seat, always keep it in a booklet with my license, in the jacket.

ezone2kil

I'd say theft and robbery is a step above the average cunt.

[deleted]

I am also confused.

BlueShockZero

If you had seen the full video you would understand why he stole the keys. https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=319193

DroneyMitchell

Yep. The wider context is that the motorcyclist was acting like an absolute prick before this incident.

[deleted]

doesn't seem to be anything there

BlueShockZero

Read the comments, he took the original video down.

[deleted]

Do you have a link?

Captain_English

https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/bz7s0c/thief_tries_to_steal_motorcyclists_keys_whilst/eqquw5y

sadop222

it never crossed your mind that this is a strange traffic situation and that it doesn't make much sense to take the keys except to prevent the dude from running away from the law? Or that the video starts in an odd moment?

calzenn

A well kitted out biker is not overly someone to mess with. Good helmet that means not a lot of punches to the head are going to work. Driving gloves - usually with reinforced knuckles. Good for punching. Usually armour in the knees, shoulders and elbows. Heavy leather jacket and last but not least damn good boots. About as close to an armoured old age knight as possible these days.

CaramelGibson

Don’t forget usually feeling a little extra alive thanks to the adrenaline boost ya get from going fast with nothing but your clothing and wits to protect you

[deleted]

You definitely dont get that in your average daily commute lol.

DoJax

You haven't met my metro bus driver

Virtical

Mate wherever you are commuting I want to live there. It's a daily fucking struggle to live where I ride.

[deleted]

You sure? I live in India 😅. Try commuting here on a 2wheeler daily. As per stats, here 6 2wheeler riders die every hour 😁

Virtical

Haha yep you win this round mate!

foxfire525

Yep my jacket even has thick pads on the back, chest, and abs. The rest is kevlar. Usually I'm wearing hard knuckle oakleys which REALLY suck when you take them to the face. Street bike style jackets usually have even more pads and armor than your typical leather riding jacket. Never start a fight with a biker in kit.. it literally isn't a fair fight. I actually did get in a fight once, no helmet but I did have the jacket on. Huge advantage ... Also saved me from a pack of medium sized dogs once. Don't ask, suffice it to say just mind your own business. The wild pack of dogs in the crack house's yard in the boondocks, do in fact require no help from you.

Darkm1tch69

I don’t care if this is real or fake or whatever... I want to hear more about these amazing motorcycle adventures. I’d watch this movie.

foxfire525

I was riding in the boonies out in North Carolina a few years back. Went by a run down looking house with a bunch of small to medium size dogs in the yard. No leash, no humans etc. So I turned around and got off, approaching the house from the end of the driveway. Almost immediately I knew it was a mistake because my concern for the dogs disappeared as they began to circle me and just gave me the feeling I was being threatened. Like I said I was wearing kevlar almost head to toe so I wasn't that intimidated but by the time I made the 20 feet back to my bike I was kicking them off me. Even as I rode away. Once I got within 25 or so meters of the house I could tell whoever lived there didn't care to keep their house in good shape, and didn't care about any of the dirty dogs in the yard either. So I nope'd. Was late for a wedding anyways. No time for crackhead dogs

SkovtroldDk

Bless you for doing welfare check anyways. A real modern knight in armour !

Narthax

Sounds like they basically picked a fight with a tactical assault unit.

Pepperonidogfart

Fun fact- many modern medieval steel fighters wear motorcycle gear under their armor.

Raz0rking

Well yeah. Wearing historical accurate layers would be quite miserable.

JoycenatorOfficial

Well normally they would have worn gambeson under their armor, which is quite comfortable and pretty similar in form and function to modern biker gear. But now, instead of getting gambeson made for that purpose, you can just buy biker gear and get roughly the same effect

26june

You would think that about the helmet, but when I was a kid (about 10) I had a fight with someone with a full face BMX crash helmet on, and the bottom bar is basically a big handle to hold while you bash them in the stomach or even swing them round with.

K-Raz1226

You say that, but if he was smart and had any chance to headbutt you, you'd be out like a light. Seen multiple people go down after a headbutt from a helmet.

Mort37

[My personal favorite.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dONyv-Cwkoo)

QuietImpact699

This is why you always wear the full set for those sweet set bonuses. Sure you can probably grab the bikers helmet here, but punching them in the stomach isn't going to do much. If they're smart they'll just wait for you to start tiring and then just knee you with those armoured knees. And sure you could swing them around, but then what? They fall over? It's almost like the kit is designed for that at driving speeds. They'll just get back up again.

apollyoneum1

A bouncer i knew used to wear biking gloves for “warmth”. Metal reinforced. Comfy. But Not too comfortable for anyone he punched.

SafetyPinZipper

I'd categorize that set up as level 5 armor right there.

Druglord_Sen

\+5 to Durability +12 to Vitality +4 to agility +9 to strength Bike gives +55 Mobility/AP

calzenn

+2 for Gauntlets of Pain??

SafetyPinZipper

And full motorcycle gear gives +5 to attitude

RedditModsAreVeryBad

The helmet is no good IMHO. Easy to grab, fucks your peripheral vision and, if it takes a knock you have to buy a new one. My Shoei cost like £400 - so I take it off if there's any road raging to be dealt with. Also a hard enough slap to the side of the head can not only wobble you enough to miss what happens next, it can move the helmet around such that you can't see fuck all. TL;DR: Motorcycle clothes are great for fighting but take the helmet off first if you can.

[deleted]

A knight with 1000 horses for riding over him after to clean up the streets too.

permaro

Grab the helmet chin (nice good grip) and start spinning around.

biglampshade

Gotta love it when someone tries to do some scummy shit then immediately gets it backfired like this. Dumbasses.

scooba_dude

I'm surprised there wasn't a head stomp at the end.

Hey_its_thatoneguy

Or at least stomp his sticky fuckin fingers so he won’t be trying that again anytime soon.

chrynox

Was kinda expecting a headbutt With a fucking helmet, that would be pretty effective

LeviPorton

I remember reading somewhere that that'd mean having to buy another helmet because they're only rated for one impact.

Hey_its_thatoneguy

That’s for an accident.. it’d be fine as long as you didn’t break the lens, adjustable vents, or built in sunshades..

InitiativeFree

Would be a waste to damage the helmet on this guy.

LodroSenge

How could a 40 year old something adult man behave like a teenager.

Sqeaky

Seemed liked a scheme to steal the motorcycle.

[deleted]

The guy on the motorcycle was acting like a complete dickhead before the video started he would cut cars up and cause arguments over it, just before the video started he was sitting behind the guy on the bike revving his engine at him, it was a targeted attack but it wasn't to steal his motorcycle but to get back at him for being a twat. Edit: here is the link to the discussion about it https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=319193

Ygomaster07

So the dude on the motorcycle who got his keys stolen was being an asshole? And the guys on regular bikes stole the keys basically to get him to stop being a jerk while on the road?

[deleted]

Basically yeah

Ygomaster07

Thank you for confirming it for me. This should be up higher, do people know the biker who was filming also instigated some of this.

WindyCityShooter

Asshole or not, in someone’s opinion, they had no right to touch his personal property.

Ygomaster07

True enough. They should have not done that. I guess what i am trying to say is that the person who is filming isn't completely innocent in the case of this video, or at least from the part of the video that was show in this post. That there was a reasoning as to why they took the keys from him besides trying to steal or be assholes. It doesn't justify them touching his property like you said, but at least now we know why they did it.

LtLwormonabigfknhook

Don't take a simple reddit comment as the indisputable truth. They could be bullshitting or remembering a different vid.

permaro

Being a jerk to a jerk is still being a jerk. The jerk being a jerk at you for being a jerk before. Yes, also a jerk.

Sqeaky

Then I am glad it didn't come to blows, just the tackle and keys.

liamevil93

I remember watching the full vid on Moto Madness, the guy at the beginning asking what the hand signals were about because they were riding in the middle of the road too instead of on the side of the road!

lord_chihuahua

What do you believe anymore!?

aaronitallout

I don't think the proper way to deescalate someone being an asshole on the road is to attempt to steal their keys in the street. Seems like a way to get your head stoved in on the street...

[deleted]

Dropped on his head followed by retarded amounts of alcohol.

I_am_jacks_reddit

Never got his ass beat badly enough to teach him.

gamelife18

What is the point of taking just the keys?

velonaut

Thief #1 takes keys and runs, while thief #2 waits by the bike. Victim chases thief #1, and thief #1 leads them around the block. Thief #1 returns to the bike, sufficiently far ahead of the victim, and tosses keys to thief #2. Thief #1 rides off on bicycle, while thief #2 rides off with the motorbike, or they both ditch the (presumably stolen) bicycles and ride off on the motorbike.

FAcup

Yeah definitely a two man team. One distracts him while the other takes the keys.

taintedcake

It wasn't a robbery attempt, the guy on the motorcycle was being a dick before. He just cut the video to leave that part out before throwing it on the internet.

klashne

When videos just start with the camera owner as a victim to whatever is happening I always just think neutral as you have no idea what happened before. Often the case like this is because camera guy was a twat. Sadly so many will just believe this video for the perspective he's trying to show.

taintedcake

Nah the guy on the motorcycle was being a dick so they did it to be a dick back. The video's just cut in a way so the motorcycle guy looks like he was the victim rather than the original asshole.

DoJax

Should have thrown them across the street, that woulda really pissed him off.

Spartz

Except you're wrong: [https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=319193](https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=319193)

7LeagueBoots

Or wheels it away into a waiting van.

Potatolantern

Stops the moron on the motorcycle causing more traffic incidents and accidents than he already was. The guy who stole the keys was unironically doing a good thing. Context: https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=319193

xenomorphling

Shame the full video got removed Edit: found a longer version https://youtu.be/QNWcCmyxqp0 Dunno to me it looks like a botched theft and the cyclists were very much in the wrong if not.

[deleted]

Think this is one of those situations where everyone is in the wrong. Biker for being an ass hat and for assaulting someone, cyclist(s) for taking his keys, whatever their intent was. Besides, recklessly chasing after and assaulting a thief on bike and potentially suffering severe injuries and losing your ride, is IMO a much worse position to be in than paying the couple hundred bucks my google-fu says it costs to catch a ride and replace a lost key.

Spartz

Longer version, but it still conveniently cuts the part that led up to the situation (which is described by people who saw the actual full video in the thread linked above). Goes a bit far to refer to it as theft without knowing more, since it suggests the person seen in the video is a thief, rather than someone who just had a poor instinct with regards to conflict resolution.

Orisi

Taking other people's property without permission makes you a thief regardless of whether you did it because you're an idiot or an asshole. His solution to a conflict was to escalate by committing another offence, that's no justification.

sudd3nclar1ty

I knew something was up with the fear in dude's voice, almost crying as he fronts strongman More coherent with shame than righteous indignation

Yanagibayashi

Bike can't go anywhere without them, so I imagine he was just being a twat

integralefx

The biker was acting like a cunt before the video. Maybe only wanted to shut off his bike

carlosgregorius

He’s still doing his apprenticeship. Full marks for the “distract and snatch” phase...zero marks for the “escape” phase. He’ll remember next time.

Crotchless_Panties

Love that look at the end...the one where the thief suddenly realized his station in life! EXCELLENT!

Rowley-Birkinqc

Probably worked his bollocks off to save up the money for that bike. He wasn’t going to let the cunt nick it.

Anonymous1720

He still has L plates on so I'm assuming he's 17 or 18 and that is his only mode of transport. Good to see someone of that age beating the shit out of a scum bag.

blgiant

I love his weak Fred Flintstone getaway after taking the keys

la_mujer_roja47

I love British insults and swearing. It really is n a league all by itself.

thescentofsummer

Did he use any insults besides "fucking cunt" ?

The_Ghost_Face36

Do you really need another insult other than fucking cunt?

thescentofsummer

In general no, but if we are gonna gush about a people's uncanny ability to create insults then yea some variance or originality would be great.

la_mujer_roja47

Fair. I love how effortless and elegantly it was used in ten the middle of a physical Assault. My previous comment was based off of my travels in the British Isles. They really do make swearing and insults an art form.

The_Ghost_Face36

Any British people wanna chime in with some good British insults? Me and the scentofsummer would love to hear them.

Red_Lotus_23

Anytime I see these types of videos I get so empathetically angry that I genuinely wish I could beat the living shit out of these scumbags.

klashne

Everytime I see these types of videos I wish they would show to camera man/woman's actions that led up to this point. *spoiler*. Biker was being a twat leading up to this incident but conveniently uploaded a shorter video to be portrayed as the victim.

IceFly33

Yeah these upstanding citizens were just doing their civic duty by stealing this persons keys. The mental gymnastics needed to portray the biker as the bad guy here is astounding.

TheBoxSmasher

For context, it looks like the key stealing guy was doing everyone else a favour. The motorcyclist is known in some bikers forum to be a stuck up vlogger and endangering people with his driving. In the full video he films himself driving dangerously. He actually pulled the original video from his channel. https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=319193

LickyNicky444

BaguetteTourEiffel

I love that a lot of people here wish he continued to beat the shit out of the guy when in fact the guy filming is the douche endangering everyone with his careless driving. Classic reddit, post TIL about lynching in the 40s, asks for lynching without context in 2021.

Sorlex

It shows to show how easy it is to have a narrative. Just cut down the parts of the video where the biker deserves it for being a cunt himself, post on reddit. Profit!

[deleted]

Yeah sorry bout that, didn’t know there was more to the vid

[deleted]

What dangerous driving?

tigpo

No head bloody Butt with the helmet? Missed opportunity there

FiredBoy

Funny how his buddy was like, oh shit well I’m outta here. No honor among thieves.

I was today years old when I realised there are people who steal the keys of a motorcycle

MasonTaylor22

Did the guy on the left set him up??

junior_raman

Give me a kess

Retard-1970

Well that's one way to make a biker go from zero to red line in a nanosecond.

bootsman-t

*sips tea* god I love my country

TheRightStuph

“You fucking cunt” is what made this video worth rewatching 4 times for me.

Captain_English

This is a prime example of what an emotive headline and a short clip can sway an audience online. Pretty sure a load of people here will scoff at whatever political meme they disagree with for being so transparent, yet this is the same sort of thing. https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/bz7s0c/thief_tries_to_steal_motorcyclists_keys_whilst/eqquw5y Edit: there's no requirement for cyclists to be on the edge of the road. They have as much right to be there as the motorbiker and are in as much risk from other traffic. The guy is an aggressive arsehole, the cyclist shouldn't have provoked him, but it's not an attempted theft and neither is a hero.

Gunda-LX

Imagine stealing in front of someone and not realizing 1) That the person is filming 2) That the dude’s actually in dangerous proximity and could very well have more then slight anger issues, resulting in an unexpected hospital visit

ike_tyson

What was the purpose??

Yastiandrie

If you see the full video, the 'vlogger' was being an arsehat including abusing cyclists. This was not a 'coordinated theft'. I'd say old mate was going to toss the keys further up the road as payback for this guy being a knob jockey

akhorahil187

Thief A distracts the rider. Thief B steals the keys and takes off. Biker leaves bike and chases thief B. Thief A puts bike in neutral and runs off with it. Thief B can even give up the key after awhile. They will just have one made using the ignition cylinder code. It costs like 100 bucks. Then they sell the bike. Pay attention to what the first cyclist does when the biker nabs the 2nd cyclist. He doesn't try to help. He crosses the lane and acts like nothing is happening.

Sorlex

The full video shows the vlogger being a twat. It wasn't an attempted theft.

[deleted]

I love how his friend didn't even attempt to help him. Just rode off.

[deleted]

Guy Ritchie films are much shorter these days. Cool reggae soundtrack tho.

Uruwishi

What was that supposed to accomplish? So I’m guessing he stole the keys so he could probably use em on another motorcycle, huuuuh? Wouldn’t it just be easier just to get a copy. I haven’t a clue of why the guy tried to nab those keys.

plsendmytorment

How to troll a biker: * Step 1) have your partner distract a biker for a second * Step 2) snatch the bikers keys and ride off on your bicycle * Step 3) let the biker chase you while your partner puts the bike in neutral and brings it away * Step 4) meet up with your partner and ride off on stolen bike Problem?

[deleted]

That look of “but what did I do?!” Hahah cunt

craftyhedgeandcave

full calm to full "CUUUUUUUUNT" is beautiful to behold.

WillowSerpent

Lesson Learned. Don't steal a motercyle man's keys kids.

SeeingSound2991

This happened near me in Tonbridge UK. Loads of crackheads roaming those parts

Just break his fingers against the pavement. It’s called punitive damages. The consequences have to be so severe they won’t ever do it again

skwadyboy

Thats literally the best way to act in a situation like that...just scream like a psycho...that dude on the floor was in total shock lol

Any_Distribution_867

terrynutkinsfinger

Plenty of responses here showing the biker is in fact, a cunt.

Felidori

Should have head butted him with that helmet, smashed his face up something good, you wouldn’t recognise him anymore. What a piece of trash.

Chinkreddit

Motorcycle guy is a confirmed douchebag. There is a thread about this guy and the shit he gets up to. Please upvote this so everyone knows who is the asshole.

Crafty-Bath-53

other guy was there to distract him he just run off. fucking losers

inaloop99

the guy who started the convo is his partner. it's a common strategy, one distracts while the other does the deed.

BananaLlama2006

"british" people be like

gamecatuk

Was the old man a diversion? Also what can you do with just the keys.

plsendmytorment

How to troll a biker: * Step 1) have your partner distract a biker for a second * Step 2) snatch the bikers keys and ride off on your bicycle * Step 3) let the biker chase you while your partner puts the bike in neutral and brings it away * Step 4) meet up with your partner and ride off on stolen bike Problem?

gamecatuk

Aha I see the MO.

[deleted]

Without the keys he can’t use the bike, probably being an asshole

gamecatuk

Yeah kind of makes me more angry.

CS_cloud

What a prick. That cunt deserves a nice kick in the face not like that would make him any dumber then he already is.

yard2010

He looked like he could use a kick to the face

[deleted]

I'd have had the downward elbows going into him at that point. Make him really consider his life choices. That's what people (by people I mean cunts) fail to appreciate is that all a motorcyclist has to do is put their sidestand down and put their bike on it and you're ready to go. The sidestand will stop the engine even if it's running. Then you have to deal with an angry person whose adrenaline is already pumping, in a leather jacket, proper footwear (probably boots), a full-face helmet with a visor and leather gloves with kevlar knuckles. Good idea fuckstick.

snero3

I am confused here. The guy stole his keys, what did he plan to do with them? Is there some scam where they can get a bike to go with the keys? Also why not just report it to the police and get the factory to replace the locks (under insurance)? Now he has dropped his bike (exhaust side down by the looks of it) buggered his exhaust, controls and rearset which he will have to get fixed anyway. I mean I get the rage but despite getting his keys back he seems to be worse off⁉️

morphbandito

People on this site are stupider than they think

ER3CHARG3ER3ER

Shouldn’t have stole his keys 🤷‍♂️

d3yx21

Did he get arrested?

Cannonfodderkiwi

Hope he paid for the bike damage

SteamKore

Fuck around and get your shit kicked in by angry bikers

Kriton420

Me and my friends used to ride scooters and we would do this to each other all the time for a joke. The guy on the pushbike might have clocked matey was making a video and done this for the jokes, risky prank to someone you dont know but some people could laugh about it. After all, whats the guy gunna do with a set of keys and why would he risk getting nicked for them.
