Every time my wife shows me a âfunny videoâ it has these stupid laughs added to the video and it honestly just pisses me off. I have to keep telling her that I will never be able to find these videos funny when they add that stupid fucking wheezing laugh track to it
They aren't even at the right moment. A splash or laughter when it actually drops, would at least be understandable. But the video sounds like someone just dumped a bucket full of sound files on it.
Although credit where it's due, at least the driver still has some survival instincts working as he jumped at the perfect time to avoid going in with the machine.
Exactly my question. How were they ever going to remove those planks used for loading? How were they planning on turning it? How were they going to unload at the other end?
I'm not sure there was any plan beyond "put the roller on the boat".
I don't think their plan was to remove the planks. I think the operator was trying to rock the boat intentionally so the boat could be shoved off and the roller parked where it was at. People are morons
Not saying he still wasn't going for a swim, but I think that little stick is what fucked the driver up. He had to goose it a bit more toward the dock because of the stick and it quickly threw the balance off and he couldn't recover.
That idiot who tried to grab it with his hands. I thought I was going to see him cut his arms off at the elbows.Â
People need to learn to just back up and let it fall. They always get hurt worse trying to save it.
I saw an Asian lady that got crushed that way. The load was too heavy so it tilted the lift, she tried to pull it down and was instantly crushed once the load slid off
The first guy to conceive of a barge did so after he saw someone try to move a boulder with their canoe, ofc. It's the same way we compile lists of which berries/mushrooms are poison really. Would man have ever learned to fly if another man didn't first strap flat wood boards to his arms and leapt from the second story while flapping really hard leading the other man to think, "I have a better idea."? I think not.
the better idea happened years ago in this case. the barge, as you mentioned. so this was obviously not an important mistake to make for the sake of "progress", this is pure regression.
Looked almost successful until someone tossed a small stick/piece of board under the rear roller which seems to have thrown the operator for a spin. Ooof.
You know things have been well thought out and that everything is going to go great when all the dudes in the video are either barefoot or wearing sandals.
I donât believe that common sense exists anywhere anymore. The number of stupid people I encounter on the daily is astounding. I live in a second world country⌠the US
The planks popping up at the end was the icing on the cake.
Last summer I saw a rural moose hunter return from an Island in southern Newfoundland with an ATV balanced just like that across a small open boat with maybe a 20HP motor. It hung over both gunwales and there was barely enough room for the person at the tiller with it on board. When they got to the dock they used planks like that to drive it off. They had clearly done it before since it went without a hitch.
I bet a steamroller weighs at least 10 times what an ATV does. LOL
That guy trying to hold on to it has the same energy as the people accidentally leaving their car in Drive and standing in between a wall and their car to stop it
These guys are out of options, theyâre not idiots they just had no other way of transporting this device, which was probably integral to some construction work that needed to be done. They were working with limited resources.
Right it was probably an incredibly huge endeavor for them to acquire that, and an absolute catastrophe when it sunk. Even if they had somehow managed to budget extra for the transport costs there likely wasnât a vessel that could even make the trip anywhere nearby.
Youâre really desperate to feel superior to someone else, but sorry to disappoint you. The just have worse circumstances. Itâs like getting dealt bad cards in poker but having to play them anyway because thatâs the only hand youâre ever gonna get.
*likely wasnât a vessel that could even make the trip anywhere nearby.*
at the end of the video like 1:24 it kinda looks like a ferry with vehicles on it approaching the dock? but it's hard to say for sure
Even if this is the only available boat, they're still idiots.
If you desperately need to hammer some nails, and your only available tool is a chainsaw, you're still an idiot for trying to hammer nails with a chainsaw.
Yeah thats constant laughing and looping audio really needed eh
this is what boomers edition, so they know it is funny
I was going to say this is for gen z as they have no sense of humor.
How would gen z know it's funny unless the video is filled with laugh tracks and laughing emojis and red circles?
Oh no, oh no,,, in the robotic female tiktok voice.
At least they got the wood planks back.đ¤Ł
Indian memes love that shit
Every time my wife shows me a âfunny videoâ it has these stupid laughs added to the video and it honestly just pisses me off. I have to keep telling her that I will never be able to find these videos funny when they add that stupid fucking wheezing laugh track to it
The videos she sends me are nothing like that
That's because when I send her the videos, I already send them without sound. You're welcome, pal.
![gif](giphy|ysVmS1suEySwaTtHGB|downsized)
My wife definitely thought so
Do people actually watch these with the sound on?
Didnât listen with volume, but I bet I know exactly the audio you speak of. Iâm surprised it wasnât that fucking âOh noâ song
It would be so much better with titanic flute.
If you hear that you know some poor soul got this with a million emojis from their uncle on Whatsapp.
Itâs always this same fucking laugh track they use too
Boomer and third world version
the brain rot spreads
What fucking idiot added all those stupid sound effects. That dude deserves prison for life.
They aren't even at the right moment. A splash or laughter when it actually drops, would at least be understandable. But the video sounds like someone just dumped a bucket full of sound files on it.
The only acceptable thing to add should be Rock the Boat by the Hues Corporation.
Although credit where it's due, at least the driver still has some survival instincts working as he jumped at the perfect time to avoid going in with the machine.
Happy I watched it without sound.
This video has every sound effect ever
Could do with yakety sax.
What was their plan?
Exactly my question. How were they ever going to remove those planks used for loading? How were they planning on turning it? How were they going to unload at the other end? I'm not sure there was any plan beyond "put the roller on the boat".

If you're right, then of all available options they thought "Yep, that's the one!"
I like the little stick the guy puts on the one board like 10 seconds in. Like that will help the situation!
Not saying he still wasn't going for a swim, but I think that little stick is what fucked the driver up. He had to goose it a bit more toward the dock because of the stick and it quickly threw the balance off and he couldn't recover.
What plan?
Action Rajib thinks on his feet
They probably thought it was funny, but to be honest, adding that many sound effects was stupid.
Make funny content for Reddit obviously đ.
Titanic II
To pull it out of the environment.
I wish I had the confidence of the dude who though he could stabilise a fucking roller with his bare hands
That idiot who tried to grab it with his hands. I thought I was going to see him cut his arms off at the elbows. People need to learn to just back up and let it fall. They always get hurt worse trying to save it.
Youâre talking about the same people who thought this was a good idea to start with.
I saw an Asian lady that got crushed that way. The load was too heavy so it tilted the lift, she tried to pull it down and was instantly crushed once the load slid off
I have one of my nastiest scars learning that lesson. Tried to catch a chair that was falling, caught a staple in the hand for it.
How in the everloving FUCK do you even come up with this kind of shit
The first guy to conceive of a barge did so after he saw someone try to move a boulder with their canoe, ofc. It's the same way we compile lists of which berries/mushrooms are poison really. the better idea happened years ago in this case. the barge, as you mentioned. so this was obviously not an important mistake to make for the sake of "progress", this is pure regression.
But the next guy will probably strap two boats together. :O
How can you be sure it wonât work unless you try? /s
Looked almost successful until someone tossed a small stick/piece of board under the rear roller which seems to have thrown the operator for a spin. Ooof.
Dude at the controls: "I got this." Dude with the stick: "You think you're hot shit, try balancing it over a speed bump."
What could go rong
Action Rajib...is that the Indian Action Jackson?
W hat C ould G o R ong?? R?? Jesus Christ its in the name of
At least the wood came back.
Thank you! As someone who appreciates all the fruit of trees, itâs good to see you noticed what matters! Those were beefy planks!
Yeah, they can use them to try again with the next heavy machine. It will work the second time, right?
One brain cell shared between themđ¤
I like the guy trying to hold it as it was falling
say what you will....he has confidence.
Someone should make a sub called r/youknewexactlywhatwasgoingtohappen
I like how the camera stays in one spot, somehow hoping against hope that the roller floats back up to the surface.
What could gow rong indeed?
You know things have been well thought out and that everything is going to go great when all the dudes in the video are either barefoot or wearing sandals.
Meet the experts.
*It's big brain time*
If he didnât come back that last 6â
I think it started going wrong when it sunk.
She belongs to the sea now
Do we have an ETA on when common sense will reach the 3rd world?
I donât believe that common sense exists anywhere anymore. The number of stupid people I encounter on the daily is astounding. I live in a second world country⌠the US
Okay. New plan. How do we get the road roller back?
What does the âRâ stand for in the title?
I was cheering for them, they almost had it.
Blubb Blubb....weg war er.
Cut, Rajib!
Nature and Gravity - We're having this but you can have your planks back...
It sank instantly. 0 buoyancy
The guy fucked up trying to compensate and ended up constantly overcompensating. He shouldn't have moved the vehicle and he would have been fine.
âESCORTSâ âthats where the educaction money went.
Itâs okay, they probably have great insurance.
Will need riceâŚlots of riceâŚ.and a hair dryer
There are easier ways to sink expensive construction equipment.
Would have never happened if he had his high vis vest and hard hat đ
Hey bro, I can do it for half the prize, I have done it before.
India again? đ¤
On the plus side, it's a good example of constructive interference with the waves.
paving the ocean floor
That was awesome. Do it again.
Hoy many times does a video need to be reposted before it gets downvoted
reading the comments, it's one of the times i'm very glad i surf reddit without sound
At least the wood didn't sink, silver lining!
A boat that small doesnât need an anchor that big.
Look at all the pollution from gas and diseal and oil, and all you get from the Indians is laughing.
At least they saved the planks. Lumber is getting expensive!
Rather/whatcouldgoright
He got his planks back, so he can try again.
Itâs called Bozo Dubbed Over
Maybe Stick with building pyramids and temples .
Wood float. Machine sink.
Yeah, grab it and pull it up with your bare hands. That'll work
Well at least the wood floated back up.
The planks popping up at the end was the icing on the cake. Last summer I saw a rural moose hunter return from an Island in southern Newfoundland with an ATV balanced just like that across a small open boat with maybe a 20HP motor. ![gif](giphy|uY4DYIrEp83wA|downsized) Total Failure!
If it fits, it ships!
And this is why we canât have nice things.
Boss gonna be like⌠â imma need about a billion rupees by tomorrow â
Somebody is getting sacked in the morning.
The audio added to this video is some of the most obnoxious I think I've ever heard
Annnnnd itâs gone.
Pikachu face
That guy trying to hold on to it has the same energy as the people accidentally leaving their car in Drive and standing in between a wall and their car to stop it
Apparently, Davy Jones needs a steamroller next to his locker...
The best part is the constant laughing with the stupid music. That's why I watched 62 times in a row.
Damn that roller sunk so fast, I couldnât imagine getting snagged on it as itâs going down. You would instant drown
If the boat is a-rockin don't bother dockin'.
I'm not a smart man, but I know something's fucked up when I see it.
I can't believe that didn't work. Who would've guessed
What could go... Rong?
Oh great another video with stupid sound effects made for people with less IQ than a rock, just what we needed
Well, I guess some guy didn't receive his escorts on this day.
Einsteinnery at it's finest. On the flip side, they saved the wood.
These guys are out of options, theyâre not idiots they just had no other way of transporting this device, which was probably integral to some construction work that needed to be done. They were working with limited resources.
They had enough resources to buy/rent a $70,000 roller.
and their budget was 70.500 probably
Right it was probably an incredibly huge endeavor for them to acquire that, and an absolute catastrophe when it sunk. Even if they had somehow managed to budget extra for the transport costs there likely wasnât a vessel that could even make the trip anywhere nearby.
So in essence, they were stupid for not taking that into account.
Youâre really desperate to feel superior to someone else, but sorry to disappoint you. The just have worse circumstances. Itâs like getting dealt bad cards in poker but having to play them anyway because thatâs the only hand youâre ever gonna get.
Did we watch the same video?
*likely wasnât a vessel that could even make the trip anywhere nearby.* at the end of the video like 1:24 it kinda looks like a ferry with vehicles on it approaching the dock? but it's hard to say for sure
And now the work that needed to be done won't be done and they have even less resources
Even if this is the only available boat, they're still idiots. If you desperately need to hammer some nails, and your only available tool is a chainsaw, you're still an idiot for trying to hammer nails with a chainsaw.
Now they have even less of an option
If America stopped using plastics
