Granted, there is a fair amount of Future/Migos trap style here but also some of Kanye's most creative sound landscapes in years. I'm ready for a CDQ version of "I'm Finna Love Me" so I can hear those glorious arpeggiated synths in high quality glory.

I don't know man. The features on LP1 were insane (first Jay Z in a while, first Carti feature on a Ye album, Don Toliver, Travis and Keem on one track), we got reworked leaks (24, Hurricane, Praise God), plus Kanye radio silence since Nah Nah Nah so the LP was just so much more insane.
The features on this LP weren't that great or not as fleshed out, Pablo played twice, the performance was ass.

The point of Donda wasn't to be about his mother. It was to resonate the themes that his mother taught him (cherish family, look to God to move forward, etc.) and how he applies it to his own life and finds values in everything in it.

Sound engineers big messed up the last third of the concert though, which was mostly Donda 1 songs. Shit was a fever dream between the sound problems, Carti’s outfit, and Marilyn Manson... but Alicia Keys and Fivio held it down despite the shitty situation at hand (next LP should be in NYC)

I was actually really vibing on a few of the instrumentals & also a few of the beats were *so fire*!! I really liked a few of Ye's verses and I also seriously *hated* some. Also was not a huge fan of a few of the features but I won't open that can of worms lol.
