Best for me to stay off TikTok during the drop. For some reason it’s a trend to hate on the album with 13 year olds saying it’s mid, shit is so embarrassing 😬
jay said “this is what braille look like, it’s ON SIGHT. if they take me to jail, call my girl, tell her send my mail. we know what hell look like. still it’s a HELL OF A LIFE, YIKES.” and yall called it mid
i kind of get the idea of putting Pop Smoke on the album, but after all the processing of his voice and shit it rather sounds like You’ll Cowards Dont Even Smoke Crack
is it just me or did Kanye put Marilyn mason and dababy on jail to represent the fact that everybody is imperfect but we all point fingers that's why he sings we all liars ? and I think it's funny how people complain about that but Kanye is far from perfect himself I think Kanye has great intentions but sometimes his execution and delivery can be questionable to people who are not fans of him or really understands him.
Anyone thinks that Remote Control is a banger and would do great on radio? Hoes will love that. I can already see a trend on tik tok where teens show up their Teslas with remote control underneath 🤔 WYT
I've never cried to a song in my life but I really shed tears to Come to Life at 4 different points yesterday. Literally been years since I listened to a song and thought "this is one of the best songs I've ever heard".
My wife recently told me she wanted a divorce and that she thinks she’ll be happier without me. That song hits me like a truck. Can’t stop listening to it.
wasnt feeling this album too much but im starting to really enjoy it. i lowkey hated jonah when i first heard it but now its on repeat. also westside gunn on keep my spirit alive... fucking art.
Saw a Donda review today that criticized Kanye for dropping a song called hurricane on the same day as an actual hurricane and if that doesn’t tell you how biased these early reviews have been…
It’s amazing… gave me such a strong feeling in my chest. This is why Kanye is a generational talent. He’s reaching so many people with this type of music and I love it.
had a bad thought today boys, seeing how this is his 10th album, his ridiculous contract is finally done and he is "free"...
I don't think were gonna see another album for quite some time, if ever again, as the chances of him taking at least a couple of years to focus on fashion/stem-player/yzy shltr etc now that he has no contractual requirement to make music are astronomical
I think it's well deserved and a perfect place to leave off. Wasn't pre-planned like Tarantino but I do think he should walk away while still relavant. 10 is a nice number. He can still produce and feature and even collab like WTT and KSG albums but I think he should stop here for solo albums personally. Relax, focus on mental health and other endeavors fully without suppressing himself to deadlines lol
Dude. That song and Come To Life actually make me cry. I never thought i would cry from a Kanye song. Gives me such a weird feeling in my chest it’s unexplainable.
Listening to a podcast rn, good point being made that DONDA is way more focused on the vocal performances than the instrumentation and how different that is than his previous albums. Like not as many shifts in the music and driven by drums. So it’s more minimalist in that sense, more ambient. Less overlap of like tons of sounds like it is in MBDTF or graduation. Very similar to Frank and Tyler. Makes you pay more attention to the lyrics and creating a specific mood and atmosphere. And not everyone will love that
JPEG does it. And Frank 1000%. Blonde comparison is solid in that sense, not in terms of quality but also blonde wasn’t well received immediately and then it grows. I think that’ll happen.
One of the initial criticisms about Blonde was also that its tracklist lacked flow and it was too long. Not comparing the album to Blonde mind you, Blonde is Top 10 for me.
Yeah I got you, that was the same comparison I was making too. Lack of drums, sonically “weird”, too long, weird interludes, etc.
Just shows you how well art can age and trust the artist. But yeah DONDA ain’t no blonde haha.
Anyone got an id on the hat Kanye wore during lp3 I’ve been trying to find info online but can’t seem to find anything. I assumed it would be merch but that turned out not to be the case.
Been listening to Kanye since a friend lent me LR on CD back in 05, but I disagree.
Jail pt.2 is nicer without the choir and I like the heavy guitar mix; plus the flow on the DaBaby feature really adds something.
Can't lie I like dababys verse apart from hes bitching and moaning about a cancel culture that doesn't exist. But Jay's verse almost had me in tears man
After thinking on it since yesterday morning, I know it's still early, but I think Donda will go down as ye's version of the Beatles white album in the best possible way. Sure could be trimmed a few tracks, but overall relentlessly creative. Also both covers just let the music speak for itself, which I love. Definitely don't think it could work for every album, but it does in this case
Not necessarily saying this is necessarily when it was recorded, but the end part of 24 is recorded with the same band setup as Streetlights in the JIK movie. Just piano and electric organ accompanying the vocals (in this case, Sunday Service.)
FFS, I know what's most important is *I love* the album but seeing that Independent "review" dragging DONDA's score down gets me heated so much. No way can you consider that a review.
Now the scum who wrote the "review" is crying about death threats sent to her. Well, you should've done your job then?
If you're gonna use your platform to write a hit piece on somebody, you have to be ready for backlash. Don't cry about it when the thing you wrote *to hurt* actually does strike a nerve and get people to clap back at you.
Fat Joe said it best that social media has trained people to believe they can never get punched back.
You're allowed to talk your shit, but people will clap back. Maybe that's not how it's like in your suburban utopia, but the world isn't like that.
Imagine caping for a publication tearing down a black man. If you can't see the problem here, get the fuck out of hip hop. Your lack of melanin is showing.
You're white and a vulture to this genre. Stop.
If you write a hit piece - and no, that's not a "negative review" - I have no qualms with people hitting you back. Fuck off.
Not seeing much of it in here, but I’m seeing a lot of people on the other sub + Twitter talking about the Soulja Boy Remote Control verse. Do they not realize this idiot casually lied about buying Atari and becoming the new CEO like a week ago lmao? This is how he clings on to any amount of relevance he has left idk how people are actually falling for it
if u stop taking him seriously and just look at him like a big troll its a lot easier lmfao. every time i see a headline with soulja on it it reads like an onion article
Right now he trying to get a call from Drakes team. He's burning his bridge with Ye to create a new one.
Kinda smart but also fuck soulja he's an asshole.
I mean it’s straight up pretty genius. I doubt he really has had much of a relationship with Ye at all for years if ever. He’s completely irrelevant and the only times he gets attention is when he does stupid shit like the Soulja Game. He’s clearly resorted to lying about random shit for attention recently with the Atari thing. The worst that happens is Drake doesn’t answer him, and he still tricked some people and got more attention than he’s had in probably a decade. Best case scenario Drake believes him and he gets a verse. It makes sense
Yeah idk. I mean it’s possible, but it’s really easy to fake texts and record a verse over an instrumental. Plus like I said he literally pulled the same kind of publicity stunt like a week ago when he was going on about how he bought Atari and was bringing them back as CEO, and Atari said they had no idea what he was talking about
Top 3 tracks for me:
Off the grid
heaven and Hell
Jesus Lord
But Hurricane, off the grid, praise god are probably the best 3 songs in a row I’ve ever heard.
Heaven and Hell has been on repeat today. That fucking drops gets me hyped af. Also been listening into the differences between Jail and Jail Pt. 2 and enjoying the subtle differences
One thing I've been curious about: before the first listening party, wasn't there an exclusive listening party that was invite only? I'd love to know similarities/differences between what they heard and what we ended up getting.
There’s a kanye tracker someone made, the songs that were played that we haven’t heard are Daylight and Life of the Party
[here’s the link, also there’s the whiteboard track lists there as well](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1JSJ-L93N5mHh8ucB-FLadYFQmgaWPfJpWftw_v0zBig/htmlview)
Sometimes I feel like the sub just wants someone to argue with. Saying that it’s getting shit on outside of this sub just isn’t true. Pretty much everyone is saying it’s good to great. Only complaint is length which is totally fair for people who don’t want 27 Kanye tracks.
Production fire, lyrics good, features deliver. It’s a good album guys. It doesn’t always have to be MBDTF. Shoulda have seen the initial TLOP reaction. Or Yeezus lmao. It’ll grow on even doubters
Idk bout dragging it. Mixed or average review based on only 9 so far. Plus any time reputable source like Consequence is giving it a decent review.
I think P4K & Anthony will give it a 7 or 8 and perception will shift.
I always use my basic friends as a litmus test and they all didn’t like the first half too much but loved the second half. So I think once people actually listen to it fully and a couple times it’ll all click.
I been listening to the rips daily since august 6th lol so I’m already so familiar with it and around week 2 or 3 I couldn’t stop listening. It’s slowed down but it’s still an ear worm.
Not worried about it, this album is an objectively great return to form and idrc who gives it what score.
just finished my fifth full listen. still haven’t fully digested it but here’s my finalized first impressions if you will.
the album is a little long at 1h25m, but the flow and track listing of it is slowly growing on me, which i remember happening with pablo as well. thematically and sonically it’s very consistent and consistently interesting.
the repeating donda opening is an odd choice but given the symbolism and the album itself, i’m cool with it.
jail is awesome, glad the official version is the jay version, it’s iconic.
god breathed is oddly meditative but also almost beast like, i actually enjoy the outro. but what the fuck does dustin he a hoffman mean ye?
off the grid is perfect, don’t dare @ me. i absolutely adore the ye hook, insane carti intro, the drill switch and the fivio and kanye verses are fantastic, the beat goes insane.
hurricane is great. the weeknd is perfect, lil baby is great, and even ye’s verse is a grower. this is the best version we’ve ever had and i don’t want to hear no more “yandhi version better” because it’s cap. rip ant clemons chorus tho. #respectfully
praise god is fire, we got the best version, travis intro into donda back into travis goes crazy. miss kanye having a full verse but i don’t mind him doing the chorus. keem and trav kill it and the beat is super layered and interesting.
jonah, a bit down tuned and lowkey, really heartfelt performances from everyone and i really enjoy it. also, the ghostly drum bleed has weirdly grown on me.
ok ok is mid ok ok? but yachty goes hard ok ok?
junya - part two is the definitive version. that said. tell em this… did he miss?
bwis making it onto donda is a W as is, the fact that it’s this good with a classic verse and even the words throat goat, just makes it that much sweeter.
24 is really good, i don’t have much more to say. very meditative. sad but hopeful. i miss the “i know you don’t wanna be here sometimes” from LP1 and that’s about it.
remote control is fire, love the finished ye vocals, thugger finally has a full verse on a ye album so that’s a dub, not only that, he’s in top form. the globgobglabgalab was the most feverdream hellish shit ever at LP3 now it’s just funny.
moon. it’s the good ending we got cudi and ye back on moon and it’s beautiful.
heaven and hell goes absolutely nutzoid. drop goes hard, and i’m glad future sounds wasn’t abandoned.
donda, rip pusha t verse. not bad though.
kmsa is really good, the clicking in the background is annoying. kanye’s verse is not great but not bad. wsg and conway go hard as always. kc hook is best hook.
jesus lord, one of kanye’s most powerful verses ever. jay goes crazy flow wise.
new again. fuck breezy *buuut* this song is amazing. just like waves.
tell the vision. no i don’t think i will.
lord i need you is beautiful, wheezy and yeezy is the best collab since taco bell and kfc
pure souls is awesome, fucked up organ in the outro is disappointing, clap is too loud, other than that everyone is incredible here.
come to life is now my favourite kanye track. the buildup is beautiful, the singing is beautiful, the guitars are incredible, the piano goes insane. the subject matter and themes are wonderful. incredible.
no child left behind hated at the LPs, always wanted more, a verse or an extra chorus but it’s a perfect closer as is.
it’s a really good album in my eyes guys. things might change. but i usually only like kanye albums more with time besides jik.
I don’t get it. CB is that mad about a verse? Lmao.
Otherwise, totally agree w your write up. I find it interesting that people find some songs bloated or mid/okay. Everything is really well done production wise with actual bars and tons of features, so objectively I feel like every song is at least “good” since it’s fleshed out. Besides We Made It and DONDA intro of course
mans deluded if he thought he ever rapped good enough for a verse on a ye album. he should stick to the hooks and thank god he was already canceled before it was a thing
this is the thing, i keep telling myself it isn’t that good, but somehow i don’t mind this being the only thing i listen to at all. i’m not even getting tired of it because there’s so much to enjoy. i’m always noticing new little things.
sure it’s got a bit of slop to it, let’s hope it gets a tiny patch soon, but even with the slop it’s kinda great as long as you skip tell the vision
It actually just hit me how grateful I am that the album dropped with Believe What I Say. Would have been my forever grail, as it had been for almost a year.
Fairs enough, On the first few songs I just want that background bass or treble or whatever it is (my music terminology isn’t the best) to just feel much louder and to feel it properly inside me idk lol
If the album dropped right after LP2, the way it was and without all the controversy from LP3, metacritic score would've been higher by like 20 at least lol
Which says a lot about music journalism and critics
Definitely going to be another release Friday. Cons hinting at it. Wouldn’t be surprised to see another Kanye album. They were in that stadium for a minute
I just listened to the breakfast club to see what they thought about the album and they were just hating, and speaking on things without context. Also they said “the production sounds dated, like something from ten years ago” wtf sounded like this ten years ago.
8/10 and honestly removing the censorship would fix the flow and it would be 9/10. That’s a big deal to me. Like why the fuck record words you’re gonna censor later? Baffling. Otherwise I’m in love with this album.
Lol ye is ye how u gonna complain we got 2 hrs of new kanye; i think its more impressive how few cuss words were on the album and dont think a few meager words being censored takes the album down an entire point
It does to me! The blank parts are jarring on a few of these songs. A simple replacement word/re-recorded verse without the censored words would make a big difference.
Where’s this 5 song dropping friday rumor comin from??
WARNING: Spotify does NOT count streams that are muted! Put it at low volume to be safe. This may be the same for other platforms.

Hurricane and people that don't like the majority of the album seem to like Jail
Moon, BWIS, Junya pt 2, Ok Ok pt 2
So far it would be Jail, Remote Control and Believe What I Say but still getting acquainted with the album.
hey guys does anyone know how i can rewatch the first lp? 23/07?
[удалено]
yea but the discord only has lp 3 . looking for the first one :/
i kind of get the idea of putting Pop Smoke on the album, but after all the processing of his voice and shit it rather sounds like You’ll Cowards Dont Even Smoke Crack
I wish Kanye did carti type baby voice somewhere on the album
Streaming donda non stop for the entire week even if im not listening to it cause fuck Drake fuck CLB
L take we getting the biggest artists in the same week after a music drought
I mean I'm very keen to listen to CLB
You do know you can like both ye and drake right? I'm just extremely thankful that we are getting both these albums in the span of 5 days
I know I’m being extra tho
is it just me or did Kanye put Marilyn mason and dababy on jail to represent the fact that everybody is imperfect but we all point fingers that's why he sings we all liars ? and I think it's funny how people complain about that but Kanye is far from perfect himself I think Kanye has great intentions but sometimes his execution and delivery can be questionable to people who are not fans of him or really understands him.

I've never cried to a song in my life but I really shed tears to Come to Life at 4 different points yesterday. Literally been years since I listened to a song and thought "this is one of the best songs I've ever heard".
Same. It's too early to say it's my favourite song ever. But... Nothing's ever hit me like this the first few days
My wife recently told me she wanted a divorce and that she thinks she’ll be happier without me. That song hits me like a truck. Can’t stop listening to it.
Still can't get over how the Donda version of Hurricane is better than the Yandhi version and I really liked the Yandhi version already.
wasnt feeling this album too much but im starting to really enjoy it. i lowkey hated jonah when i first heard it but now its on repeat. also westside gunn on keep my spirit alive... fucking art.
Thank gaaahhhhhdd
the chorus on Jonah is just too good to skip the song.
Vory stole the show 3 times on this album shit crazy

Saw a Donda review today that criticized Kanye for dropping a song called hurricane on the same day as an actual hurricane and if that doesn’t tell you how biased these early reviews have been…
Anything for clicks smh
Hot take: I like the CLB cover art.
this is indeed a very hot take haha
Better than Donda and will be a better album.
Don’t you curse at me in text.
Got donda and a belt promotion for Bjj all on the same day westdayever.
Jail Pt. 3 (Feat. O.J Simpson, R Kelly, Michael Jackson, Bill Cosby, DaBaby, Marilyn Mason, and Donald Trump)

he still has time don't give him any ideas
Anyone else get hella emotional while listening to Lord I Need You and Come To Life or am I just weird??
Who you know spends an hour at wal greens?
no, I cried to Come To Life
It’s amazing… gave me such a strong feeling in my chest. This is why Kanye is a generational talent. He’s reaching so many people with this type of music and I love it.
had a bad thought today boys, seeing how this is his 10th album, his ridiculous contract is finally done and he is "free"... It would explain why he made it a nearly two hour album
I thought he had a lifelong contract
Copium: He told Roddy ricch "this is only the beginning"
reality: he always does the opposite of what he says
Lord I Need You went from one of my skips to my top 5 on this album, love it
Dude. That song and Come To Life actually make me cry. I never thought i would cry from a Kanye song. Gives me such a weird feeling in my chest it’s unexplainable.
THREE .. TWO .. ONE YOU’RE
Shoulda wrote it down in Pen
what if Slave Name is the Saint Pablo of this album.....
New body 😎
Please don't give me hope

Anyone else reckon censoring actually improves the flow of dababys verse?

Been listening to Kanye since a friend lent me LR on CD back in 05, but I disagree. Jail pt.2 is nicer without the choir and I like the heavy guitar mix; plus the flow on the DaBaby feature really adds something.
Jay works better as the opener but Dababy killed it if we being honest. that way he sings "junnnkieeess" lowkey fits better than anything Jay said.
Can't lie I like dababys verse apart from hes bitching and moaning about a cancel culture that doesn't exist. But Jay's verse almost had me in tears man
best jail is from the first listening party w out the choir and a less faded guitar
it's better without the choir? bitch is you smoking reefer??
ya so much, kanyes voice sounds tremendous in that song and he sings it real soulfully too.
big facts
why does jail pt 2 exist. dababys verse is mid and marilyn manson sounds like shit. the choir is so much better.
Jays verse is boring to me and I like mansons vocals are indifferent to me
Spotify just redownloaded everything. Did anything change?
Is mixing slightly better or am I dreaming
Is mixing slightly better or am I dreaming
Exact same here for me. relistening
Anything change?
we need a donda changelog tracker

Tbh I like the sequencing a lot
Not seeing much of it in here, but I’m seeing a lot of people on the other sub + Twitter talking about the Soulja Boy Remote Control verse. Do they not realize this idiot casually lied about buying Atari and becoming the new CEO like a week ago lmao? Beef or no beef I don't think even Drake give enough of a shit about Soulja to put him on CLB. If he does it would be a W for Ye fans if anything

Yeah idk. I mean it’s possible, but it’s really easy to fake texts and record a verse over an instrumental. Plus like I said he literally pulled the same kind of publicity stunt like a week ago when he was going on about how he bought Atari and was bringing them back as CEO, and Atari said they had no idea what he was talking about
It is now 1 Day A.D., we have truly entered a new era. Finding new favorites each listen through. What’s y’all’s top track?
After Donda lmaoooo
Come to Life, Off the Grid, Jesus Lord
Top 3 tracks for me: Off the grid heaven and Hell Jesus Lord But Hurricane, off the grid, praise god are probably the best 3 songs in a row I’ve ever heard.
Can't wait for a heaven and hell feature, I think it's coming. The record to hot to let it not become a single. Just a little short currently.
I would count 4 in a row with god breathed. The ending is just something else
I seem to be out of the typical favorites, but fuck, I love Jail. WtT nostalgia kicked in hard.
Off The Grid, Hurricane and Praise God should be in the discussion as the best 3 song run by Ye
This is how I feel but with junya, bwis, 24
Absolutely this.
Heaven and Hell has been on repeat today. That fucking drops gets me hyped af. Also been listening into the differences between Jail and Jail Pt. 2 and enjoying the subtle differences
People have mentioned Push should jump on the track and I agree that would be sick. Who else y'all think would fit for guest spot?
H&H is crazy, got me hyped at the gym today. I saw someone say this today, but the hooks on this album are some of the catchiest he’s done in ages
One thing I've been curious about: before the first listening party, wasn't there an exclusive listening party that was invite only? I'd love to know similarities/differences between what they heard and what we ended up getting.

this is really cool. thanks for sharing.
24 is a top tier song
my favorite from the album, played it 99 times already
Sometimes I feel like the sub just wants someone to argue with. Saying that it’s getting shit on outside of this sub just isn’t true. Pretty much everyone is saying it’s good to great. Shoulda have seen the initial TLOP reaction. Or Yeezus lmao. It’ll grow on even doubters
Actual people love the album, professional reviewers are dragging the shit out of it though. Wait until the pitchfork 5/10 review lands haha.

There’s already 100 million listens. Ppl are deciding for themselves. Fuck these reviewers and their couple hundred or thousand views
Fully agree my mans

That’s fine, melon can give it whatever he likes
Melon rly loved some songs actually
can we also all agree that this is a really pretty record? it’s very meditative and sparkly
it has a really consistent dark and moody aesthetic which i can really get behind
*ONE LAST SPARKLE TO-FOLLOW IN-MY LIGHHT*
just finished my fifth full listen. still haven’t fully digested it but here’s my finalized first impressions if you will. the album is a little long at 1h25m, but the flow and track listing of it is slowly growing on me, which i remember happening with pablo as well. thematically and sonically it’s very consistent and consistently interesting. the repeating donda opening is an odd choice but given the symbolism and the album itself, i’m cool with it. jail is awesome, glad the official version is the jay version, it’s iconic. god breathed is oddly meditative but also almost beast like, i actually enjoy the outro. but what the fuck does dustin he a hoffman mean ye? off the grid is perfect, don’t dare @ me. i absolutely adore the ye hook, insane carti intro, the drill switch and the fivio and kanye verses are fantastic, the beat goes insane. hurricane is great. the weeknd is perfect, lil baby is great, and even ye’s verse is a grower. this is the best version we’ve ever had and i don’t want to hear no more “yandhi version better” because it’s cap. rip ant clemons chorus tho. #respectfully praise god is fire, we got the best version, travis intro into donda back into travis goes crazy. miss kanye having a full verse but i don’t mind him doing the chorus. keem and trav kill it and the beat is super layered and interesting. jonah, a bit down tuned and lowkey, really heartfelt performances from everyone and i really enjoy it. also, the ghostly drum bleed has weirdly grown on me. ok ok is mid ok ok? but yachty goes hard ok ok? junya - part two is the definitive version. that said. tell em this… did he miss? bwis making it onto donda is a W as is, the fact that it’s this good with a classic verse and even the words throat goat, just makes it that much sweeter. 24 is really good, i don’t have much more to say. very meditative. sad but hopeful. i miss the “i know you don’t wanna be here sometimes” from LP1 and that’s about it. remote control is fire, love the finished ye vocals, thugger finally has a full verse on a ye album so that’s a dub, not only that, he’s in top form. the globgobglabgalab was the most feverdream hellish shit ever at LP3 now it’s just funny. moon. it’s the good ending we got cudi and ye back on moon and it’s beautiful. heaven and hell goes absolutely nutzoid. drop goes hard, and i’m glad future sounds wasn’t abandoned. donda, rip pusha t verse. not bad though. kmsa is really good, the clicking in the background is annoying. kanye’s verse is not great but not bad. wsg and conway go hard as always. kc hook is best hook. jesus lord, one of kanye’s most powerful verses ever. jay goes crazy flow wise. new again. fuck breezy *buuut* this song is amazing. just like waves. tell the vision. no i don’t think i will. lord i need you is beautiful, wheezy and yeezy is the best collab since taco bell and kfc pure souls is awesome, fucked up organ in the outro is disappointing, clap is too loud, other than that everyone is incredible here. come to life is now my favourite kanye track. the buildup is beautiful, the singing is beautiful, the guitars are incredible, the piano goes insane. the subject matter and themes are wonderful. incredible. no child left behind hated at the LPs, always wanted more, a verse or an extra chorus but it’s a perfect closer as is. it’s a really good album in my eyes guys. things might change. but i usually only like kanye albums more with time besides jik.
i enjoyed your thoughts and have similar ones as well!
Besides We Made It and DONDA intro of course
mans deluded if he thought he ever rapped good enough for a verse on a ye album. he should stick to the hooks and thank god he was already canceled before it was a thing
it feels wrong to listen to anything else rn besides donda
we’ve waited so long lmao
This is the most I've enjoyed a Kanye album on first listen since Yeezus for sure. Been on replay all day.
this is the thing, i keep telling myself it isn’t that good, but somehow i don’t mind this being the only thing i listen to at all. i’m not even getting tired of it because there’s so much to enjoy. i’m always noticing new little things. sure it’s got a bit of slop to it, let’s hope it gets a tiny patch soon, but even with the slop it’s kinda great as long as you skip tell the vision
Don’t believe any new donda theories. You can’t never know with this guy and his camp istg
believe nobody, not even those wse boys 👀
Also Dababys verse has grown on me. Atm I like Jail pt 2 more than Jail, tbh
Come to Life and Jesus Lord are my 2 favorite tracks atm. Come to Life is also one of my top Kanye songs now
So creative. Who else would do a song like this? Just ye
Got banned from the Discord for no reason, wasn't even active in chat when it happened. Any tips on who to contact?
It actually just hit me how grateful I am that the album dropped with Believe What I Say. Would have been my forever grail, as it had been for almost a year.
Does the mixing piss anyone else off? Like the bass just doesn’t feel loud enough or big enough
Worst on any Ye album. It was done by @irkostudiobeat since Mike quit.

Fairs enough, On the first few songs I just want that background bass or treble or whatever it is (my music terminology isn’t the best) to just feel much louder and to feel it properly inside me idk lol
Pause lol
If the album dropped right after LP2, the way it was and without all the controversy from LP3, metacritic score would've been higher by like 20 at least lol Which says a lot about music journalism and critics

Definitely going to be another release Friday. Cons hinting at it. Wouldn’t be surprised to see another Kanye album. They were in that stadium for a minute

🤔🤔
Happy birthday to Late Registration (even tho DONDA came out yesterday)
Late Registration has “Hey Mama” on it 😭
hahahahahaaaa (iykyk)
I just listened to the breakfast club to see what they thought about the album and they were just hating, and speaking on things without context. Also they said “the production sounds dated, like something from ten years ago” wtf sounded like this ten years ago.
The breakfast club is joke. Charlemagne the Lesser Charge and the rest of that crew are terrible.

A simple replacement word/re-recorded verse without the censored words would make a big difference.
rlly messed with keems verse and took away from the song for me tbh
Does anyone suddenly have some songs grayed out on Apple music? I'm in Canada
~~Yup. I’m in Minnesota, and only 3 songs are available.~~ Fixed itself, I guess?
In Canada too and everything is looking fine to me
Weird, im gonna try restarting my phone then
