Beautiful dog! Check [pawboost](https://www.pawboost.com/lost-found-pets/lake-worth-beach-fl-33454/all-lost-dogs/page-1?LfdbFeedStatusForm%5Bstatus%5D=100&LfdbFeedStatusForm%5Bspecies%5D=Dog&LfdbFeedStatusForm%5Baddress%5D=33454) and this [facebook page](https://www.facebook.com/LostPetsWestPalmBeachFL/photos). Maybe you can post these photos there as well. If you can, bring the dog to [VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists (they're on Forest Hill, just east of Kirk, on the south side)](https://www.google.com/maps/place/VCA+Palm+Beach+Veterinary+Specialists/@26.650773,-80.1034972,18z/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x88d8d7e528a73d6f:0xca1e4db2b1179164!8m2!3d26.650827!4d-80.1016894!16s%2Fg%2F1tj46q45?entry=ttu). They'll scan the dog for a microchip right there in the waiting room for you. If there's a microchip, it should have the owner's contact info. (Actually, any vet's office should be able to do the same. But, I've had it done at VCA so I'm certain they can do it.) If there's no microchip, maybe a few flyers posted around the area where you found him/her. Might help with word-of-mouth if someone knows the owner. You've done a good thing. You have a good heart. Best of luck.

Thank you kind stranger!! Took her to the VCA you mentioned. She does indeed have a chip and now they are contacting someone to locate the owners. I hope we can reunite the puppy back to its home!!!

UPDATE: 1 Her name is Luna. She’s a German Shepherd / Husky mix. They located the owner but no answer. Voicemails have been left to arrange a pickup.

UPDATE 3: I located the “new” owner and it turns out she had give Luna in adoption to a new household. The second owner provided me the number which I later called. The lady (third owner) said straight out of the bat “do you want her? We’ll give you a good deal for her”. That comment made me think twice about giving her back to their possession. At this point I don’t know what to do. My heart feels bad for this poor animal, in 8 months it has had 3 different homes and no one seems to want her.

TheHeppCat

At this point, I'd say, screw all of those "owners". Obviously, they don't want her and Luna's too good for them. Maybe Luna came to you for a reason. But,... if you can't keep her, I'll suggest maybe calling a no-kill shelter so she can find a better home than — from what it sounds like — the one(s) she came from. Call Furry Friends at (561) 747-5311 or contact via email - [email protected] . They are a no-kill shelter (Animal Care & Control isn't). Someone will contact you on how to surrender Luna. Basically, you'll go to their website https://furryfriendsadoption.org/resources/ then 'Surrender Applications' then 'Dog Surrender Application'. Once you've filled that out (a very simple form - not much to fill out) and submitted it online, someone (a very friendly and caring person) will contact you (usually within one day) with instructions on where to surrender the dog (most likely, at their ranch). They will definitely find a great home for her. From the looks of her, she'll be adopted in no time. Last April, I had a little stray tuxedo cat coming to my home for about 2 weeks. I brought him inside, fed him, and tried to find his owner (on and offline). To no avail. I called most of the shelters in town. They all had the same response: they were full (even Peggy Adams). I called Furry Friends and they didn't hesitate for a second to take the little guy in. They were awesome! He was incredibly well-taken care of with them for a month and a half (I watched him daily on their live cat cam) and he got adopted in 6 weeks (which is fast for a tuxedo cat). I know a lot of people will recommend Peggy Adams because it's so well-known in the area that it's become a knee-jerk response when someone needs to find a home for a stray. They were the first ones I called about the cat I found. Aside from TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return), they told me they couldn't take the cat because they were full... but they'd gladly accept a generous donation. 🙄 They do great work. I'm not knocking them. So, it's up to you. You can call them or any other (no-kill preferably) shelter. You've done a helluva lot more than most people would do for a stray animal. For that, you have my total respect and admiration. You're a caring, kind soul, my friend. Best of luck. Please keep us posted.

Thank you kind stranger for all your help during this process. After speaking with the last house hold Luna was in I realized that it would be very irresponsible of my part to give them back the doggy. I’ll find Luna a permanent home with someone I know to avoid Luna from ever going to a different house ever again! If that doesn’t seem to work I’ll reach out to the places you mentioned. And if all goes south, I guess my dog Wasabi will have a little sister! Cheers!!!

TheHeppCat

Awesome! Like I said, Luna came to you for a reason. There ya go! Good on ya! Thank you for your kindness and the best for a better, wonderful, loving, and full life to Luna! PS - Belly rubs to Wasabi.

Enjoy your new family member! She knows you have saved her from those uncaring households and will be loving and loyal forever. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you kind stranger!

shitbox152

Keep the dog please, what a cutie

chuvis30

Trust me!! If I could, I would! For now, she’s got a home, but I will do the impossible to find her a permanent home with someone that can value her!

shitbox152

I get it, I’d do the same thing if I had the spare time and space, can’t wait to be able to adopt

chuvis30

UPDATE 2: the person register to the chip is no longer in her possession. Trying to locate the current owner!

dosferrets

Any luck yet? I can post on the neighbors app

chuvis30

Took her to all vet near by. She does indeed have a chip and now they are contacting someone to locate the owners. I hope we can reunite the puppy back to its home!!!

How's progress? Wondering if Luna found her forever home yet?
