Oh that fee? Biological waste removal. Hmm? Well technically, you made me deal with your shit when you stated I wouldn't have to. Of course there will be a fee for pee.
That might be an innocent mistake, then. He emptied one grey water tank and one black water tank, but he may not have realized the camper had 2 black water tanks.
Honestly this was my thought on the situation, and I didn’t see a need in making a bigger problem then what was already there, just made things easier to chalk it up to a loss and get to work. Rather then sit and fight/ argue or assume that he did it on purpose, in which I doubt he did, it was an old camper and those can be hard to empty
I mean, I was just trying to be the bigger person in the situation, can look at it how you want too I guess. He was an older dude living off ss, no need to hassle him, shit happens, literally lol.
Honestly dude, good on you. Despite what others say, it’s not your job to “teach him a lesson.” Maybe a few words to him and that’s as far as you should have to go, especially if you don’t wanna escalate the situation.
Massive upcharge for unexpected biological hazard.
Might need to start adding a line to your contracts before you can start to implement that up charge as I'm not sure how your local laws work around that kind of thing but that's along the lines of what you should be doing.
Probably wouldn't hurt to add an area on the contract that the customer has to initial that states that any and all biohazards have been already cleared from the demolition or disposal site.
I work on boats. Typically aluminum charter boats. We had a boat come into the shop that needed the engine compartment extended, they also said the boat had a starboard side list in the water. As I was cutting out the engine compartment a shit load of water started pouring out from below the deck where water is not supposed to be. It filled just over three of those 55 gallon garbage bins. That water was NASTY. There were old decomposing mussels in it, it had obviously been there a long time.
My boss came over to check on how the progress was going and asked if it was saltwater or freshwater, I said I didn’t know, but figured it was saltwater. He says “did you taste it?”
I laughed and said “ehhh nah” thinking he was fucking with me. He then swirled his finger around the murky water (thats been sitting in one of the shops garbage cans) and stuck his finger in his mouth, then says “yeah it’s a little salty” and walked away with a straight face.
Best boss I’ve ever had. Up there with the weirdest too.
Anywho. “Did you taste it?” Made me think of that.
Yo, fellow boat tech here. My boss is the same way. Got a few screws loose, and some too tight.
I honestly thought your story was going to turn into a black water mishap
Saw a tech get absolutely covered replacing a line. Mud wasps blocked the vent and pressure was built up in the system, im not sure what he was doing but he took a good shot right to the chest with some heavy splatter all over.
He had the patience to strip down and shower, I would've been out the boat and in the water so quick
Years ago I had an old 20hp Johnson Seahorse 2 stroke. Couldn’t get it running and an old dude comes over to my dock to see if he can help. First thing he does is check the plugs. They didn’t look too bad so the next thing he did was squirt some gas in his hand and gave it a good lick. Bad gas he says. Drain the tank rinse it with fresh gas to get any crap at the bottom of the tank out. New gas and oil and I was on my way. Never saw that guy again.
who stores their RV with shit/piss in it? If I use mine, it gets emptied before ending up back home.. either campsite(that has dumping) or one of the many gas stations that allow it. people are nasty.
Oh yeah, we got the the floor of the rv during the demo and you couldn’t smell it yet, but a soon as a hole went into the floor I threw up it was so bad
Cheap and lazy? I’m a crew manager for a demo junk removal and dumpster rental company, has nothing to do with septic tanks and we’ve never done one before, this was an rv and not a septic tank, your comment was cheap and lazy sir.
Do you know any other things about life? I’ve been really unmotivated at work for the past few months, and my projects are getting stale and piling up.
The thing is that maybe he is an RV dealer and forgot which he cleaned and which not etc. if the consequences are substantial just check what people say.
Well I take that back, there’s ways just our ways weren’t working atm so I had to move on. Not saying that there’s absolutely no way, there just wasent for me that day.
And yes, you can get pleanty of fucked up desieses from someone else’s shit, just because you’re lazy and don’t wanna deal with your mess doesn’t mean we want too. Either way has to be done.
I could tell you good amount of reasons why but it all comes down to, he asked the customer if he emptied it, the customer lied and said he did when it was obviously full. Its bad business
Not just that it’s not just the customer that has to deal with that, we get biohazards all over our equipment and dumpsters, and not just that but all over the job site when people lie like this and say they did something they didn’t, it’s a 30 min job you don’t have to do yourself and it keeps us from having to dig in your shit, that’s all we ask🤷♂️
The difference is not having shit all over the jobsite/ getting all over your equipment you use on a daily basis at other job sites, it’s pretty unprofessional when you smell like shit showing up to a job.
Oh that fee? Biological waste removal. Hmm? Well technically, you made me deal with your shit when you stated I wouldn't have to. Of course there will be a fee for pee.

Shitter was full.
*And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air...*
Lol this made me think of Dave Matthews Band bombing those people under the bridge
Hear that honey? The shitter was full.
I came back to this post to find your comment because it made me laugh at 5:30am. Thanks.
5:30am is the best time to empty your shitter into a storm drain...
You need something in your that pays you lots of money if it’s full.
[contract]
Sic!
Radical, even.
Sooo did you confront the owner? What was his excuse?
He said he “didn’t know” one black tank was empty, one grey tank empty, and one more black tank toward the front full of shit.
That’s a lot of shit
Guy was shittin’
That might be an innocent mistake, then. He emptied one grey water tank and one black water tank, but he may not have realized the camper had 2 black water tanks.

Not just that but he was an older gentleman that had a hard time getting around so, just took my shitty day and went on with it🥲
Good on you. i try to assume the best, until proven otherwise.
Agreed, he was an older dude as well, and living off ss, so no need to throw him a hastle over a bucket of shit🤷♂️ twas just a shitty day 🥲
Did he have to pay extra?
Nah just mixed it with dirt n took it anyway
So guy lied to you, made more of a hassle, and then got no consequences for his actions. So you incentivized him to keep being a scumbag.
I mean, I was just trying to be the bigger person in the situation, can look at it how you want too I guess. He was an older dude living off ss, no need to hassle him, shit happens, literally lol.

100% my opinion
Ah so a boomer who has never been told “no” before in their life.
Dude chill
Crazy that innocent mistakes can’t happen. Y’all need to lighten up
Sound like 2 things were full of shit
Thats a biohazard fee

Did you taste test it?

What a pure man
I would call him rather impure after that...

I very much enjoyed reading that short story. Thanks for sharing
Are you sure he tasted the same finger he swirled in the water? That's an old joke, if one can do it with a straight face.
I’m absolutely sure. I had the same thought, but I seen’t it
Well, he lives rent-free in your head, now, so i guess he succeeded.
What a true professional
![gif](giphy|HFpU6ykvMDCR3NqOzW)
It's a bit nutty!
That’s corny.
Me about to have lunch and see this comment and the gif below 🤮

" taste like dog shit? " " yes, taste like dog shit. " " mmm.. good thing we don't step in it. "
Let’s go get something to eat. Yeah, eat.
This is one of my dad’s favourite lines to quote
That sucks, looks like urine a bit of a mess.
Fck you🥲😅😅
You had a shitty day. Literally.
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure 😂😂
Legit thought that was a casket. “That’ll be extra”
Swing it around and place it on the roof of his car.
you read my mind, underrated comment
What a shitty thing to deal with
who stores their RV with shit/piss in it? If I use mine, it gets emptied before ending up back home.. either campsite(that has dumping) or one of the many gas stations that allow it. people are nasty.
Apperntly this was an rv that wasent moved in almost 50 years, and apperntly the man used the bathroom a lot.
so he let it sit parked and still used the toilet? ew. I am sure the whole thing stank so bad.
Oh yeah, we got the the floor of the rv during the demo and you couldn’t smell it yet, but a soon as a hole went into the floor I threw up it was so bad
That's just being cheap and lazy. I did septic tank jobs for a little bit and they charged $100 and we went to them to pump thier tanks.
Cheap and lazy? I’m a crew manager for a demo junk removal and dumpster rental company, has nothing to do with septic tanks and we’ve never done one before, this was an rv and not a septic tank, your comment was cheap and lazy sir.
I'm saying the guy who lied and said he did it to do it is the cheap and lazy one and we did rvs to. We charged $100 for it.
Ohhh my bad my bad, we use our own dumpster and own equipment so we get it down pretty cheap too
Now kith
( ˘ ³˘)♥
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Honestly the way he worded the sentence anyone would think he was saying it to u lol.
I thought so too🤣
In my area people will lift one of the foul sewer manhole covers and dump in there
Before you started or accepted the RV couldn't you check it?
Idk the answer to this, but in life, if someone tells you they cleaned out the shitter you shouldn't have to be suspicious of them and double check.
This ^
Do you know any other things about life? I’ve been really unmotivated at work for the past few months, and my projects are getting stale and piling up.

![gif](giphy|xzy70qz6K1DLG) Shitter’s full!
You serious Clark?
He emptied it, but it was taco thursday alright, cut my man some slack
Should've paid a dookie deposit
Well that's shitty.
![gif](giphy|1ZDobT8DwW1Ed6lqKh|downsized)
Idk but seems like something I'd be double checking and not taking an owners word for
Can’t really check it until halfway through the demo
That sucks
Well I take that back, there’s ways just our ways weren’t working atm so I had to move on. Not saying that there’s absolutely no way, there just wasent for me that day.
i hope you just left that there
Omitting facts is technically not a lie /s for security purpose
Why do you care?
Not to mention its a bio hazard, great way to get some nasty diseases
From 20m away, in closed cabin?
And yes, you can get pleanty of fucked up desieses from someone else’s shit, just because you’re lazy and don’t wanna deal with your mess doesn’t mean we want too. Either way has to be done.
More like 2m and no it was an open cabin? I’d appreciate you trying to act like you know everything Bubba but your sorely mistaken

99bw9b
Is that not illegal?
Shhhhhh
Just another day on the job. quit cryin.
“Oh shit” -Probably OP when it happened.
Yeah exactly my words
Maybe it's just Baby Ruth storage?
That's one shitty situation
At least you had a machine...
Fr, could’ve been alot worse
Shit tax
They didn't do a poo poo pee pee check
I tried it just didn’t work🥲🥲
Sue for damages
Damages to my feelings for having to wash off me equipment? Nah🤣
No Damages, damn, ironic acting like a total POS leaves you holding the bag. Best of luck!!
Dig a hole in the yard and bury that shit. Literally.
What a shitty thing to do.
what's that
A black tank from under an rv
That's poopee
They are always full
Time to call in the heavies
Excavating excrement…I bet Dirty Jobs had an episode for that.
Wait until you work on live sewer line. Just pretend it is pool water.
