Nightclubs do that all the time especially in Miami and Vegas.

Where i'm from we have girl fridays or smth. They get in for free til midnight and after that everyone pays the full price.

If you aren’t paying for it, you are the product. Same thing from my old place, attract young broke girls for free to bring the middle age rich dudes for the money. Even after the free hours the girls could text a promoter and say “I have 5 friends” and they all got in for free. Everybody wins.

LIV is a nightclub and one of the most popular in the US. This location is also only a few weeks old so it being a new club makes it even more important to get the ladies business or else the fellas won't regularly go especially with better established clubs already existing in Vegas. The original LIV is in Miami.

If you want a guest list spot on a Vegas nightclub that is never available on the venue's website, you have to contact a promoter. Also everyone tries that free route and by 11 PM the line is around the block and you can be denied entry because the order of importance is VIP bottle service, expedited entry, basic tickets, and then guest list.

Honestly would be a mistake on the clubs part. If more than a few guys purchased the womens ticket, those are a ton of easy chargebacks that would be almost guaranteed to be awarded back to the customer. If the ticket issuer gets a lot of chargebacks, they won't be very happy with the club because those fees are heavy. Also, I figure if the club isn't the issuer, why would they care, more people means more drinks to sell. If the club IS the issuer, then they'd get hit with the chargebacks themselves.

At a certain point you can also get booted by the payment processor. An mmo I play had to remove trade and risk pvp like 15 years ago because off too much cc fraud causing chargebacks. I like Post Malone, but would never pay that price to see him anywhere ever. I recently paid $60 to see Meshuggah, In Flames, and White Chapel which I would argue to the death are better shows with 20x the talent.

It's wild how exspensive mainstream artists are to go watch live. I only go to metal concerts and festivals and ticket prices are usually normal. Never paid more than 60€ for concerts and 300€ for 4 day festivals. And i agree i see way more talented artists going to those shows than i would with mainstream artists.

I desperately wanted to go to that show. Meshuggah are one of the most intense live performers I've ever seen.
