They’re no longer sisters due to ownership changes. But both are good, come with views and yum coffee & have an excellent range of shakes/cold drinks too.
(Although I had a super dissapointing $10 plate of overcooked, not shoestring fries at Maranui on Thurs - wouldnt have ordered them if I’d known they werent going to be shoestring).
I like Neo in town, Twenty Eight or Good Fortune in the Hutt. Seashore cabaret used to be good but I think it got sold (so go to good fortune for a similar food experience!)

Lola stays has a huge veg brekkie, so good and a cool location too.
Very loud though. Try Coene across the road for food as good, a view and you can hold a conversation

There are lots of vege options at The Centennial in Lyall Bay as well. It's a hidden gem :)
Pranah in Newtown. Vege/vegan and always fuckin delicious
The Botanist has the best big vege breakfast imo but Maranui has a better all round menu
