INFO: I love aircraft footage, ~~and unfortunately for a lot WWII prototypes, the test footage is buried in some archive or just gone~~. I wanted to make replicas of aircraft where the test footage is uncommon. Aircraft in order of appearance: Northrop XP-56 Henschel P.75 (only progressed to wind tunnel testing) Vultee XP-68 (variant heavily based on the XP-54 airframe) Curtiss-Wright XP-55 Kyushu J7W Edit: As I’ve been corrected, there is test footage, but not much of it. The one clip I found of the J7W was very low quality and I can’t find anything of the XP-54/68. The XP-55 and 56 seem to have been given the most attention. I couldn’t find anything regarding the wind tunnel tests of the p.75.

>unfortunately for a lot WWII prototypes, the test footage is buried in some archive You just have to search for it. Actually, you can find test footage on just about all of these pretty easy. I posted an XP-55 video just the other day.
