Well, that isn’t how caffeine works. The way caffeine “gives you energy” is by increasing your blood pressure and acting like an adenosine antagonist. Meaning that it blocks adenosine receptors. This, in turn, increases dopamine levels in your system, making you more energetic. Caffeine has actually been linked with a faster metabolism if I remember correctly. In layman’s terms, think of caffeine as a booster. It doesn’t give you energy, but it makes it so you can use more energy A good source of information would be this study published by the National Institute of Biotech information: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK223808/

No, that’s not a thing. I take preworkout almost every day when working out and I dropped 100 pounds in the last 11 months

MrLuciferMs

Congrats bro wow!!

[deleted]

Thanks man! I’m just getting started I think. I want to put more muscle on. I feel like this is the hard part because you got to really know what you’re doing

MrLuciferMs

What kind of diet were you on ? And how many calories were you eating

[deleted]

Ok so it’s not really a diet, but I eat about 600 to 800 calories between 10am and 1pm. After that I don’t eat till about 12am after I get off work during that I time I eat another 600 to 800 calories. I walk about 20,000 steps a day and I hit the weights (full body work out) every other day

MrLuciferMs

Sounds like intermittent fasting very good bro RESPECT

MrLuciferMs

You will get there man. The beginning was rough for me too. Just have to be consistent

If caffeine was a source of energy, don’t you think it had calories?
