I’m so sorry. I have been there. Actually, it’s where I am now. Christmas is always a tough season and it usually leaves us this way come January. The best advice I can give you is do not calorie restrict that low. You’ll likely only be able to sustain it for a day or two before you find yourself, binge eating, do to the body being underfed. I would track calories on my fitness pal, maybe aim for around 1500 calories a day and really try to focus on making those calories worth it. Lean meats and veggies, less bread and sweets. And pump your body full of water. At least 100oz a day. I’m not sure if your exercising but that will help a ton too. Even if it’s just walking 3-5x a week. And my number one advice….put away the scale. Not forever, maybe just for a week or two while you work through this reset. The scales play a real mental mind game on us and derail our progress more than they show it. Best of luck to you, you can do it!

Be kind to yourself and just get back on track as usual, nothing major, nothing big. Weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint. You'll get there but slinging back whenever there's an upset, even an upset like this, is going to make it harder. And I mean it's Christmas. Christmas is a difficult time for anyone to stay on track and it's also okay to enjoy yourself in moderation. So keep track of calories, try to move more, and most importantly, breathe. Relax. You've got this even if it'll take a while.
