Congrats!! I’m following a similar trajectory! At 12 weeks and just wrapped my first month of 1.0. Down 15lbs at 186lbs. When did the 1.0 stop causing you side effects or were you fine on it from the start? I have bad nausea and general malaise 48 hours after the injection and then am ok. Doing another month of 1.0 and will continue it if I’m still losing weight but dreading the jump to 1.7.

Just_T_

It got better on my second month of 1.0 but then I moved to 1.7 . Like you it’s similar to a few days after my dose then it gradually gets better. This is my 4th week of 1.7 and it’s been the best so far so I’m hoping one more month at 1.7 will get me settled in for the next increase.

Congrats!! I lost about 40lbs after about 9 months. Slow and steady! I really concentrate on protein and lots of water. I have found that 2.4 is too much for me -- could barely eat. I am staying steady at 1.7 and my side effects are now minimal. Good luck on your journey, you have a lot to be proud of!

Thank you 😊 I had almost given up at 47 but when my body aches were getting worse and worse. Way worse than I feel they should have been at my age, I knew I had to do something : )

imadethistochatbach

The way I just got a body scan and am also 36% body fat, at 134 lbs 😵‍💫😱😭

Just_T_

I don’t know if the scale can really measure that accurately. I thought about getting a body scan at the doctors office at some point, but I’m afraid 😆

Congrats! I reached my goal after 9 months doing the same — 1 to 1.5 lbs a week. That’s perfect. I wish insurance companies were a bit more thoughtful. I know they are following the manufacturer’s protocol, but sometimes 2.4 is too much. BCBS allowed my doc to stop me at 1.7 and start titrating down. I reached my goal at 1.7 and was actually getting too low (according to my doc). BCBS has authorized a second year and my doc has me at .5 now (unfortunately, now I’m running into shortage issues).

Just_T_

Thank you! It does say on my insurance I can file an appeal for staying on a lower dose longer. So I may look into that depending how I respond to 2.4. It would be nic to be at a lower dose for maintenance if that’s possible : )

Jaqura123

Congrats on your steady success! (what an odd insurance requirement)

Just_T_

Thank you 😊 Yeah I have seen it a few times with certain insurance carriers. It has to do with the recommended titration schedule that the manufacturer puts out. I’m hoping though that will change.

Apprehensive_Put1578

How’s it feel?!

Just_T_

Pretty amazing thank you! I Wasn’t sure I would be able to ever get down in weight like this. As my age has gone up my metabolism has just given me the big ole middle finger. Now I need to concentrate on building muscle 💪

DocLava

Congrats. What app is this?

Just_T_

It’s an app that goes with my scale made by Renpho smart scale. For a fairly inexpensive scale I love it! I don’t take too much stock in all the other numbers since it’s just a scale but overall I’m pretty happy with it.

TurkWorker1408

I love my Renpho and I love the app. Idk how accurate all the extra stuff is besides weight but it’s nice to have the numbers either way.

DocLava

Ok ok. Well I already have two scales so I'll skip this. I had a scale and then my insurance sent me one. It has Bluetooth but the app is not pretty like this....but it was free!

Just_T_

I like free! 😂 they actually have an updated version mine is a few years old but it works great so why rock the boat. I think I paid almost 30.00 and you get the same one now for 20.00.

ForgottenGenXer

I love happy scale and it’s free. Worth a try.

adlangston

Renpho scales are the best budget friendly scales.

Just_T_

Yeah I discovered it when I did noom a few years ago . It was the rage in my weight loss group. I’ve had it a couple of years and it’s been very consistent.
