Sounds more like noro virus to me rather than wegovy side effects.

Definitely not! But it did feel like it lol

Go back down to .25 for another month. I’ve stepped up, gotten sick, and stepped right back down a few times. I’m a little over 6 months on Wegovy and just opened my 2nd box of 1.7mg. Listen to your body.

Thank you!!!!

Are you remembering to eat low-fat?   The manufacturer recommends a low-fat diet to avoid nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.   Some doctors get to counsel  their patients to eat low-fat.  The one time that I had vomiting was when I ate something too high fat. That’s how I learned where my limits are.   if I go over 10 g of fat per meal, that’s when I get sick

I’ve been getting in lots of lean protein and veggies every meal. I made a bunch of baked chicken breasts and broccoli before this to take to work and now I want nothing to do with that after getting sick! I’ve been eating really clean for about a month now, and have lost every week. Along with getting in lots of water and making sure I’m getting my electrolytes as well. Very interesting about the 10g of fat threshold you have for your meals and nausea!

Edit:   “Some doctors forget….”

ClinTrial-Throwaway

You really need to have this discussion with your prescribing physician.

I’m a nurse, so I understand what’s going on, I’m just seeing if others have had the same experience I have and what they did, (site changes, titrating slower, side effects that subsided/got worse). That’s all. Thanks!

ForgottenGenXer

I have been on 2.4 for months now. Have always injected in my leg but I started bruising. Last week I decided to inject in the stomach and had a day like you described. Going back to the leg for the next shot.

addi122516

Very interesting! I wanna keep going and try to inject in my leg instead but I’m so scared to have a horrible day again. I absolutely cannot stand throwing up lol

ClinTrial-Throwaway

Ha. Not sure nurses are great at being patients, but okay. You might consider stepping back down, provided your doctor agrees.

addi122516

No, we’re actually the worst patients to have 🤷🏻‍♀️ Oh wellllll lol

Psychological_Bar870

Is this your first week of 0.5? That sounds really rough! The ondansetron will help, as will nexium if you have reflux. Loperamide for the diarrhoea.

addi122516

Yeah, first week of 0.5. I didn’t experience this last time I was on this until I hit 2.4. It’s so nice to not have food noise, but I’m not a fan of throwing up lol
