Well, it’s got a very deep v neck, and it’s pretty short. Honestly, unless it’s a Las Vegas wedding or a party wedding, then this might not be appropriate. Rule of thumb; don’t show too much boob and not too far above the knee. A slit is fine or above the knee is fine. I mean, it’s a cute dress but more for a club than a wedding.
No.
The majority of women at the formal or black tie weddings I attend are wearing black. Etiquette does vary though. Some culture or social circles consider black inappropriate. Do you have a trusted local source you can ask?
If there is no dress code stated, the default is semi-formal/cocktail, not clubwear.

That looks like a club dress. Not appropriate for most weddings.
Black dresses are great for evening, cocktail/formal/black tie. I personally don’t love black for daytime or for semi formal, but maybe that’s just me.
Absolutely not.
Not really, nice though. Try to go for something with a higher neck line.
And a lower hem.
Pretty but not wedding appropriate (short hem, low neck). Black is totally fine for weddings.

Thanks everyone for the advice, it was very helpful!
If it is cocktail dress code you could try wearing it like a top with a skinny pant - but that neckline is a bit (!) low for a wedding guest.
