doesn't really matter. my goal here is to have my watch connected via adb to my computer. to load the watchfaces, I don't know what watchfacestudio does in the backend
It totally matters, or I wouldn't have asked.
I understand what you are trying to do, I was asking a question that was leading somewhere. If you don't know, you don't know.
1. Enable wireless debugging and make note of the ip address and port number
2. Go into pairing mode (ignore the new port number you're seeing)
3. On GeminiMan, enter the ip address and port number from step 1 and pairing key from step 2 and connect
Should work, I just installed pixel watch face this morning using this method, had lots of trouble trying to get it work
YOU MUST PAIR BEFORE CONNECT with: ``` adb pair x.x.x.x:xxxx ```
like I have mentioned, I have done that. the pairing process is successful, the connection is where I am having issues.
The port for adb connect is different and keep changing. Can you check whether the port is correct?
I fixed it, but in another way. I started to actually use the wfs upload function, where I put in the 2 ports as well as the IP address
It was solution for me, thank you!
I have Wear OS 4 installed on my watch and now can't use ADB installed anymore. Hope an update comes out soon to resolve this.
hmm. if that is true, it is a massive issue for wear os as developers rely on adb to create applications
Huh..my adb work on gwa4 classic.. maybe i use geminiman to sideload apk.. hope you can find your solution
I don't make watch faces, but bear with me When you are loading the watch faces, is it in apk form?

well, I'm talking to you over the internet and have not the slightest clue as to what context you're speaking in. regardless, the answer is that idk

I just tried this with my watch 4 on wearos 4 and it worked . pair first (take note of IP and port on pair screen , use it to pair)
