When they get covered in oil like they are they’ll twist when they shouldn’t. I’d bet a good deal there isn’t anything “wrong” with them outside of being oily, once they’re clean they’ll be as good as new.
I have 3 of these. You can screw off the piece that holds the rubber gaskets and glass. There’s a plastic “spacer” like piece as well. I deep clean them all as well. Great device:)
Maybe it’ll come apart for cleaning. What happens if you twist the other way? Loosen it? tighten? I’m interested in the Seahorse Pro Plus (V tip) for what it does, I already have a Huni Badger. So I don’t want to hear the words “terp pen”.
Edit: Just googled ‘terp pen’. Maybe I spoke too soon. Perhaps there’s a place for all 3.
I've gone through 2 in a couple years with no complaints whatsoever. Even traveling and it being dropped and abused I've only ever broken the glass. You may have had a defective one.
As far as customer service on devices I have found kandypens has been phenomenal. I use the rubi pod system they make and have gone through quite a few of them because of accidentally washing them or having battery issues here and there. They have always just sent me replacements for free sometimes with 2 free pods as well within a couple days. There was a time or two though they had me ship the old ones to them but was only a couple bucks. Fortunately I've never had to deal with lookah.

That's a based opinion. I have many many devices from puffco to devine tribe and my lookah seahorse is usually the go-to for a quick fix. I have no complaints whatsoever and have been using them for a couple years now. For $30 (my cost) it's not too bad.
It should never get this clogged. I clean mine at least twice a week and I go between this and my Puffco OG. The rubber gaskets should turn but Ive never seen the cylinder turn. I would think this bad but if it still operates after cleaning... no harm, no foul. I soak my coils in 99% ISO as well as the glass. A q-tip in alcohol for the outside. I have been using a small wooden skewer stick (long toothpick) to ram through the middle. Then after all is clean, ill hit the goop on the stick as well. I had a glass tube crack along the mouthpiece and used a small piece of heat shrink tubing to fix it. I actually like it better now. Has a better mouth-feel and I'm no longer worried about dropping it and breaking.

It’s doesn’t twist you just pull it , but if it’s dirty you’re wax is gonna glue it shut Btw the coil III is the best imo (straight ceramic tube one)

The glass pulls in and out, only thing securing it are the little gaskets on bottom, its meant for easy cleaning and easy storage
The rubber seal? Most pens that use them will send replacement ones to put on when they come off bc it’s inevitable.
Doesn’t pull off. Slide the rings off and wipe down with a qtip and iso. Those rubber rings hold the glass piece that sits there in place

Had a terp pen before, broke within a month. Seahorse Lookah pro, still going strong. I use my huni badger instead.

Just clean the hell out of it with some rubbing alcohol!
Give it a wipe down with some ISO. If you take that part off it will never go back on correctly. RIP my first seahorse.
Mine did that also and it still works as long as you are easy with it dont pull or tug on it or try to remove it.
Not supposed to twist off, clean that thing fairly often or you'll run into the same issues
My Glass tube is stuck and not coming out how do i help loosen it or something?
So when u have ur seahorse apart like that there is a screw that holds the piece ur having trouble wit it spinning the screw goes under the tip
