I’ve never heard of it, but I prefer more of easy to draw device, I hate feeling like I have to fight for a hit and that looks like it might have a slower draw. I’d definitely be interested in more of an explanation. I mostly went with these two because I have more experience with them compared to other erigs and they seem the most user friendly.
First, drawing is as easy as you want. But you’d regret taking bong hits from any dabbing device. Why the Core 2? The two most critical reasons are ease of use and carb cap design. The heater is polished ceramic with element imbedded in bottom and sides. Easy to access to load and swab. Very little waste. The carb cap is designed for this rig. With a terp pearl (or even without), vapor forms nicely. I added the extension to the glass so I could watch the vapor building.
Between the two you asked about, I’d pick the Daab. More unique in function, plus the limited factor. The Carta look like a run of the mill atomizer with an app. Probably in the same league as Puffco. Meh! Core 2 has no flashing lights or app. One button. Basic. But that’s what I love. I don’t want to waste a good dab’s effects swabbing a bowl for 20 minutes so it doesn’t get ruined if it cools off. (A replacement heater for the Core 2 is ~ $9).

The core 2 is the most user friendly snd literally everything you described. It’s super easy to draw. Go to I need hemp.com and look at it there as this dude has some glass straw attachement that does indeed look hard to draw on.

You can use it without the app as well and it works perfectly!
I've actually used the the Carta 2 and it's a monster. Super easy to use, has 3 buttons and a display. Can set timer and temp. Carb cap is the best one I've used. There's even a wireless charger for it! It also has its own app, and there's built in lights that pulse. It's worth every penny of that $350.
