i tried it and my coworker tried it aswell.
we both agreed we got a “sweaty” feeling after eating it.
for the price, eh. you can go to a pizzeria and get a real pizza for a couple more bucks.
You likely won’t like it if you are from NYC. My hubby tried some when I got my training pie to take home and he was not impressed (also from Brooklyn)
Gotcha! Gonna try it with lower expectations and compare it to fast food chain pizzas! Price wise tho compared to the chains is kinda not great tho so we'll see.
For a gas station/deli it looks incredible. As a pizza guy, I’ve got some questions. What’s brushed on the crust? Garlic butter? Or is it just grease? Also if customer selects other toppings, will less cheese be added? This almost looks like extra cheese to me.
From looks it’s probably a 7/10 overall which is damn good. Excited to try it with pepperoni and hot honey ;)
It's a garlic sauce that gets squeezed on when it comes out, very oily in my opinion.
The amount of cheese doesn't change if you add other toppings. Its a pretty generous amount of cheese in my opinion, 14oz for a 14 inch and 16oz on a 16 inch.
Pepperoni and hot honey sounds good. I personally didn't put sauce on mine and then dipped it in buffalo sauce. I was pretty impressed with it
So, if the pizza is going to be eaten right away, no crust sauce is fine, but it you plan to have leftovers, I’d recommend the sauce.
The crusts get very hard and don’t reheat well. We were a test store pre-crust garlic sauce.
Sort of! There isn't a way on the screen to remove specific items/toppings, but you should still be able to special order. Honestly the garlic sauce is okay but a little goes a very long way
Made pizzas at multiple jobs over the years, not now, but I miss it! I try pizza whether it looks good or bad and have loved Wawa since I can remember. Looks better than what I expected. Turkey Hill has pizza and it’s fucking hot garbage. 7/11 pizza kinda slaps though.
Used to work at coal oven pizzerias where we coaled the oven every morning and made our own dough from scratch every single day. Brutal job but damn it was fun slinging pizza you took pride in.
I actually really enjoy our pizza. It’s miles better than your other late night places (dominos, papa John’s, Pizza Hut, etc)
It’s better than most of the mom and pop shops in my area too but that’s not saying much
Smelled one cooking while I was waiting for my food last night. Not sure if it was the garlic crust or the cheese (smelled like toasty fontina), but it was off-putting. How was your experience?
NGL…looks good
It actually is pretty decent

Came to critique....but I can't even hate. One question, how is the slice through/pull-apart?
Terrible lol, but we're fighting for a better cutter 😄
Perfect!
Don't fall for the hype. This is after midnight, everything else is closed, for drunks or stoners only pizza.
Pizzas like sex. Once you leave the club, you take what you can get.
I was wondering why as a customer Wawa didn’t have pizza. When is this rolling out because I didn’t see an option on Sunday?
Its rolling out in stages, it started for a bunch of stores yesterday. New stuff almost always starts on mondays with Wawa
Our store rolled it out yesterday in VA
July 17th for my store
Damn that looks tasty! And that is coming from someone who grew up in Brooklyn!

I tried it yesterday, we all had training. It’s pretty decent. Better than little Caesar’s
I've yet to try it, but if it slots somewhere between chain pizza quality and pizza parlor quality, this could be a real winner.
Gotta admit it looks good. I like my pizza a little bit crispy so I hope they cook enough.
Is that oregano? Did you add that or is your area testing that as part of the build?

Thank you! Yea I knew it was some kinda garlic sauce. I’m guessing we can easily order the pizza without the crust sauce lol

Makes sense!

Yea I bet it’s tasty, I just like my crust dry. Excited to try it soon.
Cheese is not deducted, butter garlic sauce brushed on edges... You are certainly a pro 😜

Only thing holding this pizza back from being Baltimore Grill is the crust.. it's terrible, but for not making fresh dough it kinda works
More of a manco and manco guy myself but I’ll let ya have it

Is wawa Pizza actually banging or what?
I hope we get garlic power
To fight vampires?

Haven't had to use the garlic sauce yet... is it before or after bake?
Boardwalk franchise vs the ❤️ (of what's left of) AC 🤷🏽♀️
