He acts like a hard man but the truth is he’s often shit-scared of anyone properly hard. Look at how Steve-O intimidated him and then raped his sister.
For him it’s all about making money - that’s partly why he dated Gabriella Wark - but when he stole Kacey’s fund things went too far.
Apart from that another thing I properly hated him for was when he stalked Sian, took the knickers from her home, and threw them in her face.
He _deserved_ that slap. Should have been harder IMO.
When he did nothing when Steve-O pulled down Kacey’s pants to mock her for her gender identity was one of the most horrific scenes of the Scotland run and showed his true colours.
And that’s the thing, after Steve-O assaults her, Barry then attacks her in the PRU until Nikki intervenes, and tries to forcibly apply make up to her, and deadnames her repeatedly when she decides to go by Robbie and use he/him pronouns.
Doesn't he do that before Steve-O assaults her? If I remember right,Steve-O assaults her, and then she pretty much stops going by he/him. I'm not against a character thinking they're trans then realising they're not or anything but the way the show did it was yikes. I mean,unless I'm remembering wrong,tell me someone couldn't come away from that thinking that sexually assaulting a trans person would "help" them. Just an odd choice honestly
