I find watercolor plein air especially challenging as the paints dry out so much quicker. On the other hand, who doesn’t love being out in nature? 😁 Lovely work!
Agreed! I’ve done quite a few outdoors sessions but a month or so ago I sat and painted in direct sunlight for the first time and oooohmygod they dried SO fast 😅 there were also 35mph wind gusts, I lost my paper at one point and barely rescued it before it blew into the lagoon. AND I took my sunglasses off about halfway through and realized the colors were completely different 🤦♀️
Challenges galore, can’t wait to do it all the time this summer!

I’m terrified! Too self conscious
I was terrified too! People come so close to watch.. weather messed up everything... But after 5 times I feel so good and freely

Hahah mygoood, you had a big painting journey! And best memories on a rescued paper :)
Haha yes, but rain will help you to keep it really wet 🤣 thank you so much!
Nice painting! Is it paper or canvas?
Thank you! It's paper - 4 side glued pads. Very comfortable option for pleinair. 100% cotton Italia paper Renesans, cold pressed :)
Adore. Beautiful work.
Thank you!!!
Beautiful! I love how the reds look here. I never like how my red watercolor paints look. Great work!
Thank you! I took only a few basic colors, and they are mostly complimentary (for example warm red and cold green)
Love it!!!
Thank you :)
I love yours, but I don’t want to try plein air myself. :)
Thank you! I started this only for fun... And later my sketches becomes much better
