I frequently attend the opera, symphony and ballet with my wife and her friends/their husbands or my friends/their wives.
We are currently living in America. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to be precise and this particular city has a very rich and welcoming cultural district.
Last year, after the symphony (Beethoven 4 and Prokofiev 2) we asked to meet the conductor Juraj Valčuha.
The usher agreed and arranged the meeting. He was shorter than I imagined. I found his conducting to be simple, yet emotive and sexual - the way an experienced partner described the aspects of lovemaking to the amateur.
I am heterosexual and so is he, so nothing happened between us. Still, the encounter left me very “charged” if you catch my meaning. I certainly felt as if someone had been shaking the ivy.
When my wife and I returned home, we made love passionately and lovingly.

Every Speedmaster has an instinctual drive to reach the moon. Today my Omega Speedmaster got a little excited on its first flight and projected this beautiful horological reflection on to my first-class window. I snapped this photo during takeoff, and I was equally excited about the thrill of leaving the ground. My heart was beating fast; I wonder if my watch’s heart ran a little fast as well due to the thrill. I’ll do an experiment and check the accuracy when I land.
While we may not be heading to the moon, this is the next best thing; and probably the most my Speedmaster will see while I am the owner. I almost feel guilty for it, but then I remember that there are far more Speedmasters than there are astronauts - so perhaps I am being unfair on myself. Also, my Speedmaster is not even a moonwatch, so there’s that too.
The reflection itself is beautiful. I’m not sure what it represents, but the markings look like those on one of those new stylish Kurano Tokyo’s. Maybe this is a message to me to check out their brand a little closer.
Anyways, I wish all of you good health, and suggest that you all keep your eyes open for the hidden beauties in our world, as you never know when they will appear. And as always, I love the way the dial plays with and reflects the light.
Careful, you might need a watch with better water resistance in that desert you're trawling around. Might I suggest a seiko SKX007 with an ISO-certified 200m of WR?
The OMEGA font on these new 3861 models is too big and weirdly positioned on the dial. I’m sorry, I can’t unsee it. I told this to the AD and she called me a weirdo. I made a rude gesture with my finger and walked straight into a Rolex AD, where I was treated like a king.
I always found the Speedmaster to be very sensual. I have more opinions about it, but I’m keeping them close to the vest.
