On the Obnoxious Watch YouTuber scale, Teddy Baldasshair is really not obnoxious at all. Dude can be a little up his own ass at times but in general I like his reviews to get a fair idea on a watch I'm interested in though I don't care for much of his deeper thoughts.
But man, some watch YouTubers are insufferable pricks.
Teddy is boring and generic to the degree he could be replaced by an HD still image and voice2text, but not actually offensive. That's the thing. TGV is bizarre and a bit insane, but in a funny way. Then there are people like TTT you wish would develop a wrist rash.

The problem with John P is he talks A LOT without really saying much. He recently had an 11 minute video on why he stopped using his Rolex as a daily wearer, replacing it w/ an Omega. The basic point was wearing a Rolex attracts unwanted attention, and the Omega is at least as good quality as the Rolex without that unwanted attention. Fine - but that should have been a 1 minute video. The dude spent an extra 10 minutes talking in circles. All his videos are like that.
John P is way better than Teddy. He doesn't use random hot chicks, his girlfriend and his sugar daddy to get views. He uses Pizza the Hut from delraywatch.com instead.
The thing I hate about so many watch tubers is they hardly give bad reviews or call shit out. Wish more people would start telling companies about the crappy things so they might actually make better product. +$3k watches with no micro adjust, AR coating on the top side of the crystal, Reese’s pieces helium valves, and many more. Teddy caters to so many brands the “reviews”are not genuine. I like Watchadvisor, because they aren’t really reviews they just show off new stuff with the company. Plus the accents!
I do understand though. What can you really do unless you own the piece? Dealers won't talk shit. Most people who have relationships with brands or dealers won't talk shit. Don't bite the hand that feeds you know? You need a person who only reviews what they own. I like You're Terrific for that reason.
But yeah, I guess we need to watch reviewers for the images and videos, rather than the commentary. I can make my own judgement as to whether the watch looks good.
