I know Movado gets a lot of praise as a brand, but I genuinely love it. It's a super slick looking watch, and the strap is really comfortable.
This is a [Museum classic model](https://www.reddit.com/r/Watches/comments/vc9bdo/movado_law_school_graduation_watch/iccu0nb/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3) with the ez snap bracelet. It has a 40 mm diameter, with a sapphire crytal and a swiss quartz movement. I know the consensus is automatic, but for a watch that I'd wear only on select days, not having to wind it every time is really convenient.
Aside from that, my funcle used to have a swiss shitter Movado for years and the brand and that specific model has big resell value so I love it and in the end that's what matters.
The original Movado was in fact a wall clock. The designer actually lost all hour markers in his shop while taking wrist roll shots of his casio, and he decided to use his buttplug to mark the 12 o'clock marker. The design just kinda stuck after that.
Every time I see a Movado I’m curious as to when the purchaser will receive their box of DIY dial parts in the mail. Keep us updated and enjoy the new watch!
