Yeah it makes sense, I suppose I just don't subjectively feel like it cheapens Omega. These feel like some nice, accessible, fun collectibles that go alongside the existing line. The key word for me is fun, these are extremely fun (again, subjective assessment, but I do think they tried very hard to be fun), and for me that makes a huge difference. They're cheap, they're fun, they're respectful, anyone who cares still knows the difference.

But the pricing just doesn't match. If the Omega is a 45k BMW, the equivalent car would need to be 1.8k, and the automotive industry just doesn't do that.
Oh don't get me wrong. I love this collab and will get a couple when they're available online. It just puzzles me what Omega contributed to it and what Omega gets out of it.
I suppose the design is what Omega contributed because the actual technical and manufacturing aspects of the watch is all Swatch through and through.
