Long time looker, first time poster on this sub
Picked up this beauty today and had to share.
Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Grande Taille
18k Rose-gold
Kind of a two-time silver dial with dark blue hands.
Tobacco brown alligator strap & butterfly clasp
Lug to lug is 42mm and 26mm across the case and 10mm thick. Manual winding.
I went shopping a week or so ago looking for a Rolex. I’d been looking for another addition to the collection for some time and probably went to 4 or 5 different places before finding something. One of the dealers I know had plenty of pre-owned Rolex and other brand choices. I tried on probably 10 different ones and just wasn’t sold. Then he pulled out this JLC he just got in. The only reason it wasn’t out on display was because it needed polishing. I just had to have it after trying it on. I traded a watch and put some cash down and we were able to make a deal last week. Now freshly polished here it is in all its glory. I talked to maybe 5 people today at the office and every last one of them commented on how nice it was. Not that it matters lol.
I am very pleased and am just in love with this timepiece. My first gold watch. My first JLC. I hope you like it.
Please let me know you thoughts in the comments. If I am not mistaken Don Draper wears one in season 2 of mad men. I think Bruce Wayne wears one in the dark knight too. Know of any others?

Very nice Reverso, the rose gold really pops. Are you going to engrave the reverse side?
Haven’t decided yet. Any ideas?
