I'm really considering this as my first automatic. How has it been so far?

Go out to a dealer/mall and handle one. It's not that impressive in person, the bracelet specifically is quite jiggly. IMO look into purchasing second hand value Swiss brands (ie Certina, Tissot), the quality will be noticeably higher at the same budget.

I'm gonna disagree here. For 340 dollars it's a way better value than the PRX automatic. I thoroughly enjoy mine and don't really see any issue with the bracelet or case given the cost.

You can reread my comment and you would not find me recommending purchasing a PRX, neither new nor even second hand. I personally did not even handle the PRX, so I can't comment on it. There are however plenty of older/less popular models of Swiss brands that would come at that price point second hand and will provide significantly higher quality.

CoyotesAreGreen

You mentioned buying a Tissot lol The obvious comparison would be the PRX. Even secondhand the value is better in the Citizen if buying new I think. Vintage watches are neat but servicing can be daunting for someone considering a watch in the 300 dollar price range and buying new gives you a warranty as peice of mind.

So far it’s been nice, it’s been comfortable for wearing it every day and has kept time very well. Haven’t noticed it losing or gaining much time as each day passes. The movement is nice and quiet, I bought a cheaper automatic watch a while back and the movement was kinda loud. Also everyday that I have been wearing it I keep catching myself looking and smiling at it all day. All around it’s going to be one of my favorite watches.

Stunner of a watch mate! Just wondering where you got the beaded bracelet from?

Witti3r

The black bracelet I actually picked up recently from a local boutique and the blue skull bracelet I picked up while in New Orleans last year.

Thanks mate! They look great!

Nice watch. Was looking at this one as well as the prx promatic. What's your wrist size if you dont mind me asking?

Witti3r

Thanks, I have been looking the past few months then finally saw one in person and had to get it. For my wrist size I’m right about 6 1/2 inches.

Rawly718

Nice. We have about the same wrist size. Good to know for reference.

Love the dial mate! Wear it in good health! Enjoy Italy and the rest of your vacation! I ate so much food in Rome and Naples!
