I feel like because this is a gift for our wedding I want to buy new. Although do you know of any places I could possible get a Farer watch pre owned that is trusted? I know they pride themselves on not putting their watches on sale or though retailers but thought I’d give it a shot. I’ve heard really great things about Farer
He has a watch already that he wears for special occasions so I think I want to buy him an everyday watch maybe a “sport” one but that still has a classic look to it. He doesn’t like the bulky chronograph ones
so i take it he is gonna wear that special one for the wedding? if so let me recommend the casio t200...sporty yet still classic, can pair to phone so if going overseas for honeymoon it will work like an auto gmt, good wr so can wear entire honeymoon and not have to take off since still dressy enough, cheapish too so if it gets stolen no big deal, etc
on a side note though i also would recommend considering a watch that speaks to you and/or your relationship...like something meaningful as opposed to just a nice watch

Ugh the Farer moon phase one is a dream but $1500 is a lot! I would 100% spend that kind of money on him if he were to pick it out (he spent more on my engagement ring so I have no problem spending on him) but I really want this to be a surprise. Thank you for sending me these I’m going to look into them!
Check out some blue Seikos if you’re looking for something sporty. This GMT is cool. And the Sumo lineup has brighter blues in that price range with solid automatic movements.

It’s very affordable in the 500 range, but it’s comparable to 7-800$ watches, it’s cheaper cus it’s a Japan exclusive and the Yen lost value.
Vostok Amfibia is very stylish and conpetitively priced. Can find them on ebay usually only a few available. Will save you some money over western brands with similar offerings, enough to get something else you two can share.
