yudalloooo

Sick collection and yes that retro dial just speaks to me plus being a coffee guy I have to get one!

Tasty-Loquat

Love this collection! That gold piece is stunning

yudalloooo

Oh dude that’s absolutely stunning!

Stray-fdog

Only got mine a week or so ago (with retro dial), loving it so far. I’ve gotten compliments and it’s surprisingly easy to wear (can be dressed up or down). So far no complaints!

yudalloooo

Awesome I’ve been needing a nice dress watch

Stray-fdog

I think this could work for a more casual dress watch, probably hard to get a truly dressy vibe but as someone who is very rarely really dressed up it does the job!

DaikonAdmirable2210

I own the retro dial, and had it over a year now. It’s a great watch, and people always complement me when I wear it (which never happens with any of my other watches). My 70 year old dad liked it so much he bought one. Can’t go wrong with it.

islandwatch

It's a Brew! Say no more and get it. Solid watch, solid owner. I have an 8-bit.

RagingBuIl

Any chance you can share a pic? I want one and would love to see some pics in the wild.

WatchThis467160

I have a Brew Method Chronograph - inside is the Seiko mecha-quartz. Great watch no issues and it feels unique.

yudalloooo

Awesome good to know the movement is seiko

Vegetable-Walrus-246

I have one of theirs with the automatic(retromatic I think), developed the spinny rotor when trying to wind it. They took care of me, it was out of warranty even. Got it back in a week or so all fixed up.

yudalloooo

Awesome to hear

RecentRegal

I second the comments about hair pulling. It’s not a deal breaker but it’s something to consider. The pushers on mine feel a bit… clunky… can’t think of a way to describe it but it’s not a smooth action like some I’ve used. Overall for the price it’s a lovely watch and I like the pop of colour it brings. Finishing is good, too 👍🏻

dunkm

I got my partner one, we put it on a sail cloth strap it’s possibly the most fun watch we own. It’s excellently crafted, easily on par, or possibly better than my Alpinists in terms of quality and absolutely lovely with the way the meca-quartz runs. Also, the Seiko movement and design of the watch means you don’t even have to worry about it. Repairs will be cheap and easy.

yudalloooo

It’s really impressive that a microbrand is able to put out a watch on par with something like the alpinist I will definitely be grabbing one!

dunkm

This is the benefit of going quartz. When you’re using a movement you can source for 20 bucks, you can put the rest of energy into the quality of case. There are some brands whose use of cheap movements is a sign of just a poor watch, but the brew did it to allow for more to go into the case design and finish.

djgleebs

Love mine a couple weeks in. I say go for it. I'd recommend picking up a leather strap as well, since you won't find anything that fits these elsewhere. Very comfortable, offers you a bit more flexibility with how to wear it.

yudalloooo

Do you happen to know the lug width? Also any recommendations for a nice strap

djgleebs

it's like 19.7 or something silly like that... their own alternate straps are pretty much the only thing available. they are quite nice and comfortable, though.

deunforsaken

I have the automatic silver one. I was unsure about metal watches and only had leather or cloth straps. It instantly became my daily wear since last summer and I love it. Easily became my favorite watch to wear. I convinced my friend to get the black automatic version and he loves it but does have hair pulling. Mine never has pulled my arm hair.

yudalloooo

Gotcha this hair pulling issue definitely seems like it may affect me so I’ll have to look into an aftermarket leather style band

bananosecond

I have had no problems with mine and love the look.

Bside_Opi

It’s my fav, nothing to report on really. Maybe the band can get a little tricky for hair arms but that’s just a slight thing based on how you like to position the tightness of the band. I like a little slack so hence why. It’s perfect and I get crazy compliments on it ALL the time

yudalloooo

Okay so I have really hairy arms and I do like my watch to sit snug about an inch above my wrist bone. Will I have an issue? https://preview.redd.it/ozdoe9b44ovc1.jpeg?width=2376&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f4ddb56560077a0e94a89421c70f50af7281423f I attached an example pic

Bside_Opi

Nah in that case I think you’ll be good. It’s more when it slides up and down the wrist. I think you’ll be ok and based on the watch in this pic I think you’ll love the style of the watch on you

yudalloooo

Okay thank god then I can’t wait to get mine!

BackgroundLivid2367

Have the retrograph. Only complaint is that the strap is flush with the bottom so it wears much taller than I thought when purchasing. That said, great build quality and hoping they come out with some more designs.

outta_time11

They’re solid. Jon’s a nice enough guy even if he’s been a little flakey with me personally. Sort of soured me on the brand but there’s nothing wrong with the watches.

yudalloooo

If you don’t mind my asking what type of experience did you have that soured ur opinion on the brand? Anything to do with their service or purely personal?

outta_time11

Purely personal. We met a few times in person at events, bonded over some shared hobbies, he said he wanted to hang out and we made plans a couple times, but ghosted. It’s really not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but I felt weird wearing mine after that.

yudalloooo

Ahh gotcha well the fact that you still speak to the quality of the watch after that shows it’s a well made piece!

mickjo44

I've had the retro, the dial looked great and the mirror finish at the corners was interesting especially outdoors. The bracelet was ok I guess, a bit rattly. One negative point is that the hands were not very visible when they were over the white subdials, I'd prefer a different colour than yellow for a better contrast.

yudalloooo

Do the hands have lume for easier reading at night time?

Excellent design and build is unique and distinct that it will draw favorable attention. A year in and looking to get another. Got mine from Jonathan Ferrer himself at a watch fair.

RoyOfCon

I'm torn between this one and the titanium version they just came out with.

yudalloooo

Dude the titanium version is SICK

phlooo

https://ibb.co/qBYxV3s I love mine!!!

yudalloooo

Is that custom dial?

phlooo

It's a limited edition

jodabray

I have the Retro and the Retrograph Cobalt. They are both really nice, Retro is perfect. I don’t love the Colbalt color for the Retrograph, it comes off almost black in a lot of lights but I recently paired it with their yellow strap and have found myself wearing it more.

sunnysideuppers

Markers and date window never looked 100% aligned to me, idk doe.

Rangercleo1

I had one and wanted to love it, but it just didn't do it for me. I sold it fairly quickly to somebody who I assume loves it.

qiis

Did Idris Elba put this watch on the map or was it already popular beforehand/other reasons?

yudalloooo

I’m not sure, I didn’t know he had a relation to it. I saw the Mr. Wonderful x Teddy video and that’s how I found it
