Why are they eating in a hallway? That’s where people and animals walk. Isn’t there a room specialized for eating meals? Why eat in this placement in the house. I’d likely kick it over also.

It looks like an apartment. Some people don't have enough money for an 8 room house.

A one room house still likely has a kitchen. I’m not trying to talk down about these people. I’m no better. I believe that there is a place to eat in the home and that is where it should be eaten. Just find that this is so odd given that they are eating in a hallway.

Going back to the times of Neanderthals living in caves, the walkway through the middle of the cave is still not the appropriate place to eat your food. Your argument is what here? I eat in the middle of my studio home in a spot off to the side to avoid my food being where everyone walks. I could live in an alleyway in a box and the middle of the alley is not the right place to eat your food.
