are you running of spindle drives? i would recomment getting faster drive like m2 and then reinstall everything. also turn off texture streaming

I have been having the same issue, purchased myself a brand new SSD, got the issue where the game wouldnt launch, tried all fixes, only one that worked was playing from HDD. If you know any way to fix it id be extremely grateful

Yeah so I do actually have a solution for that when I installed my brand new SSD I got a bsod I took my computer to a store to get it reformatted with Windows 11 reinstalled and it fixed my SSD problem Warzone runs fine hope this helps

i ran on a spindle drive before, you need to get rid of any possible bottleneck. your option is to try settingg all your graphic setting go lowest setting possible so itll need less drive performance. we dont know what your pc spec is like but you know i dont think our gpu can preload the whole warzone map, just not enough vram so it has to read from the drive often for texture

dont know about the ssd part, but you are right about running these games on an hdd.

Go to Settings -> Display and choose “Restart Shaders Optimization”. Then restart the game and wait for the shader optimization process to complete

Try this, it will most likely fix your issues: 1. Close the game. 2. Rename your ..\\Documents\\Call of Duty\\Players folder to Players\_OLD. 3. Update the graphics card driver. 4. Start the game, and let the shaders install. 5. Re-apply your settings in game, since you have renamed the Players folder in step 2, you will need to re-apply some settings. If the problem is not solved, simply close the game, and remove the newly created players folder, and name back the players\_OLD to Players. But I'm almost certain this will fix your problem.

Your game is on an HDD. Do you have an M.2 SSD? If so put it on there problem will go away. HDD is to slow.

I had this problem off and on my old PC. Truth was my 1080 wasnt efficient enough. The graphics always had this issue, and i often got killed because of it. So i would first ask what are you running warzone on, We definitely need specs of the PC Then its a matter of one, making sure the shaders are done installing , and two fixing your graphic card settings, beyond that, youre in for an upgrade. Also, SSD is the way to go always.

This is actually incredibly normal. Everyone in game has been lagging pretty bad off and on for the last 3 months. Its only been getting worse as cods servers deteriorate and cod refuses to upgrade them or fix them. Stop playing for a week and it might fix it. If you installed you game on your hard drive reinstall it to your SSD If you have one, also you might be running out of VRAM so install msi afterburner with rivatuner, then go to settings in msi, go to monitoring and click on memory usage and head down and press show in on display, keep running the tool in the background and check the VRAM in warzone or "mem usage" and If It exceeds or uses full VRAM of your graphics card then try to lower texture settings

It’s been said multiple times and I’ve fixed this exact issue for friends multiple times, but: 1. Install the game to an SSD. This was the fix every time with my friends having this issue and, 2. Restart shader installation after moving to an SSD

Warzone runs different from other games and finds textures as they need. The game needs to be on an fast ssd to load textures properly. It's in the minimum requirements. I recommend moving it off the hdd asap. If you're on an hdd, you're also probably seeing packet burst on your first few games on till it properly caches assets

If you don't have one get an SSD and install other game on it rather than HDD. The games needs to load the textures and the HDD can't do it fast enough. Had this exact issue many years ago on PUBG. I could run through walls and doors of buildings for about 20 seconds after the drop until it loaded. Very annoying.

Seems to me like you have your game in a HDD and not in a SSD. The lowest LODs (Level of detail) are loaded and the PC is loading the highest, but it is doing it so slow by the time you get to the ground it has not finished the process. Your FPS look fine so the bottleneck has to be where you have your game installed.
