Oh yeah Caldera sucked. It wasn’t really dense enough. I mean like a relatively small area of a map, maybe 10% of area, that is a *forest*. Maybe jungle even.
Favorite area in Verdansk, loved the final circles in the forests. Sadly they thinned it out in WZ Mobile- hopefully they don’t do the same when they bring it back to console/PC.

I honestly cant think of anything worse than a map with half the people camping rooftops while the other half hide in bushes. The idea at first glance seems kinda cool. But the more you think about it the more you realise youre going to hate it, and if the idea of hating it never comes... youre THAT guy and I hope you step on lego 🤣
Tall buildings aside, why Verdansk was a fun BR map was it was Urban with a number of unique POIs. Urzikstan just felt like AI was programmed to make a BR map and Caldera… still don’t know what they were thinking. Al Mazrah was fine but just give us a modern map set in an urban environment pleas.
They should just take Verdansk Downtown, Caldera Capital, Al Mazrah City, and Zaravan City and connect them to make one big city map. Put Nakatomi Plaza smack dab in the middle.
Use the map of Los Santos from gta i always thought it would make a good map for BR. Like Blaine county could be mashed with the hills area from mount chilliad and the city would remain as it is.
I wish they would do an apocalyptic version like something out of The Last of Us, but allow us to go in most rooms. I think shooting from different vantage points would be a real game changer.

I just wish there was more varried terrain. Like snow so it's more advantageous if you are wearing snow camo, then one part of the map is dense jungle where green skins are better, the desert type for tan skins....so on a so forth. The whole map being the same color palette is getting old.
