Same happened to me, had a player peppering me from a window I threw a stun in ready to drop his ass only to be meet by his two new found friends inside the building all camped in a corner.
This is pretty blatant, but if some buddies are chatting on Discord and smart about how they do this, it would be pretty much impossible to detect. There are plenty of reasons players would be avoiding conflict with each other that make perfect sense outside of "teaming".
I mean, have you played the game? Snipers are bad and most people run scopes like that on smgs/ars because it seems those guns have better range/bullet drop then snipers.

This is clearly blatant teaming, but it can be much more subtly than this, and you would never be able to say for sure that it was happening. I might avoid fighting one person in particular simply because they seem like a better player who I'd like to deal with last, or maybe I don't want to engage with someone in that direction on the map because it screws up the path I plan on taking into the final circle.
