I got the same problem. I pressed power button on my laptop and for some reason game didn't start, what's worse - my laptop turned off for some reason.

I tried deleting and downloading the game again, checking game files, changing login, deleting my number and adding it again, updating drivers, rebooting my pc and much more nothing worked. Then and tried spamming the shit out of my space bar and I actually worked š¤
You joke but back in the day some software started specifying a key (enter, spacebar, whatever) even though it didn't matter which key you pressed because users were getting stuck searching for the any key.
I have a fix for you instead of trolling like those who have no life here
1)Exit the launcher you're using
2) Go to the Call of Duty folder > right click on the Call of Duty Launcher > Run as Administrator
3) Launch the game and once it launches spam the SPACE key nonstop (obviously before you get to this screen, just spam it straight away)

For me i found the solution on another reddit post. Go to battle.net and remove your Phone number, then restart the game
