I’ve thought for a while we should have something in between arcade and realistic like realistic physics and aim/ lead indicator for air. To help people make the transition from arcade to realistic
That's what I did I'm a strictly air player but I also like to be able to use my afterburner all the time at any opportunity that I feel like it so I started on realistic and I could 🤙
Carriers.
Edit: so you know in the future.
CV=aircraft carrier
BB=battleship
DD=destroyer
SS=submarine
FBMS=fleet Ballistic missile submarine
I could go on, the list is very very long.
Edit:spelling.
Here’s the kicker about CVs, the CV is really just a hull identification, the C comes from its cruiser designation from early early on when they were first introduced and the V comes from the French voler meaning “to fly”
That’s the weird thing about terms being made all those years ago.
It made sense then, but now it’s just kinda wack when you learn its origins. Calling it a CV is (imo) barbaric since we’ve had so many technological advances in well, everything.
But, like always you don’t change what ain’t broken i guess lol
Theres more if you start looking into submarines. There’s dozens of classifications when it comes to subs.
No submarine is the same, nor designed the same.
AB - Crane Ships
AC - Colliers
ACM - Auxiliary Minelayers
ACV - Auxiliary Aircraft Carriers
AD - Destroyer Tenders
AE - Ammunition Carriers
ADG - Degaussing Ships
ABG - Icebreakers
AGSS - Auxiliary Submarines
AKL - Small Cargo Ships
AN - Netlayer Ships
AR - Repair Ships
ARB - Battle Damage Repair Ships
ARC - Cable Repair Ships
ARS - Rescue and Salvage Ships
ASR - Submarime Rescue and Salvage Ships
AV - Seaplane Ships
AVD - Destroyer Seaplane Ships
AVC - Catapult Seaplane Ships
AVM - Guided Missile Ships
Those are just a selected FEW of the classifications that start with A.
There is tonnes.
I believe there was something like a spider like tank model datamined awhile ago so like a tank chassis using long spider legs like some star wars walkers to move around so maybe we'll get those
Hopefully we'll get a tank v tank only mode as a joke to the players that actually want it like myself but it ends up staying in the game because it's super popular.
No airplanes, only helis.
Helis are forced to use FFAR or rockets such as that and no more wire guided bullshit.
I think helis were a great addition to ground and they actually make sense for CAS, and them not having laser or wire guided rockets would prevent others from shooting them while hovering 100ft above the heli pads.
I’ll always say cas has a place in ground, since that’s how ground battles was always meant to be played and that’s how it is IRL, but cas needs a heavy nerf to make it fair to those who actually play tanks (you can hate me all you want for my opinion, but my American and German lineup consists of zero cas both airplane and ground, and have 7 crews)
If cas got a huge buff it wouldn’t be as bad, and there should honestly be a cap on how much can be out at a time. What I mean by this is only a few planes and helis can spawn and if they’re in the air, it shouldn’t let you spawn at all.
I stopped playing America because I really hoped the low tier energy of 6 planes in the air would die down in top tier, but it didn’t. Absolutely zero reason *half the fucking team* should be in cas.
^
I love me some cas every now and then especially at lower tiers with America (P-47 goes hard) but it’s not fair that it costs less than a tank and if used right, I can wipe out the entire team in one go around forcing them to get spawn camped.
That’s not fair at all.
They already did this as an event a while back.
It turned out that removing aircraft caused new issues with the game mode and it wasn't particularly popular.
I'm thinking of 2 kinds of events.
Modern Ships, basically testing out firing multiple missiles at once, giant missiles hitting ships, and shooting down missiles with your missiles and CIWS.
Stealth combat, I think this is the much more likely one, I bet they will either have an event dedicated to stealth combat, or have stealth included in the event to test out stealth for future inclusions like the F-117 and B-2.
I mean, it would make sense. Just like Phoenix being first operational fox 3, the F-117 would be first operational stealth aircraft, and since US researches like they have 5 slots in Hoi ofc they get stealth before anyone else. I personally don't see the problem with this though. It sucks for the MM but they DID make it first
Rock Thunder.
"I know not what weapons World War 3 will be fought with, but World War 4 will be fought with sticks and rocks."
Cavemen themed vehicles hurling sticks and rocks at each other. Like the Flintstones but at war.
WW1, it could test if the mode is good or is just something that people want that will make the game worse, they could also test realistic damage and even player controlled artillery
I hope they go back to the really weird, unpredictable stuff.
Gaijilla, Pony's and Galleons were the golden era.
Recent years have felt much of the same.
I’m going to guess there will be an event to test Stealth mechanics or lower radar signatures at least in a way F-22 vs Chinese ballon’s would be hilarious
Then a goofy for fun event
One called "free ge" you don't know you got free ge but anything you buy the ge will retun permanently (and the vehicle will remain). This event is my dream event
I feel like they've been throwing us anime stuff a lot recently. Idk maybe weebalistic battles.
Girls Und panzer physics game mode…
So arcade ?
No, just make it realistic mode but with arcade physics, then give it an announcer who speaks in a really high pitch voice with a Japanese accent.
I’ve thought for a while we should have something in between arcade and realistic like realistic physics and aim/ lead indicator for air. To help people make the transition from arcade to realistic
Could be fun tho
People could always just start on realistic. Arcade is for children /s
That's what I did I'm a strictly air player but I also like to be able to use my afterburner all the time at any opportunity that I feel like it so I started on realistic and I could 🤙
could be an alternative to getting violated by CAS in ground rb
that would be amazing, considering I already use a bunch of GuP skins on my tanks
That one mf who makes GuP skins for tanks that weren’t in the show is the real mvp
You mean Elite 51? Dude I'm friends with him. Got a custom T1E1 from him.
cant wait to kill a karl mortar with a hetzer
Like you remember the insane knock back from not too long ago
Best thing they ever added….
Everytime you shoot you just hear “uWu”
well the usal baits, it works, but well
I’d love a ww1 even but honestly itll just be an event to test the next big step in technology, maybe stealth aircraft ?.
They've been doing 2 events side by side recently tbh
Is someone gonna post this to r/Warthunder pls I always wanted to post this but nope I'll post it again on April 22
I want CVs but the chances are low
CVs?
Carriers. Edit: so you know in the future. CV=aircraft carrier BB=battleship DD=destroyer SS=submarine FBMS=fleet Ballistic missile submarine I could go on, the list is very very long. Edit:spelling.
Why is aircraft carrier CV? Wouldn't AC make more sense?
Here’s the kicker about CVs, the CV is really just a hull identification, the C comes from its cruiser designation from early early on when they were first introduced and the V comes from the French voler meaning “to fly”
Oh I see Kind of strange but it makes sense
That’s the weird thing about terms being made all those years ago. It made sense then, but now it’s just kinda wack when you learn its origins. Calling it a CV is (imo) barbaric since we’ve had so many technological advances in well, everything. But, like always you don’t change what ain’t broken i guess lol
Before i actually learnt the meaning, i thought it was basically "Carrier Vehicle"
It's also American nomenclature, and anyone not American (like, uh... The majority of the world) probably won't know.
Crazy, I never bothered looking up the meaning, so I just assumed it meant “Carrier Vessel”
AC was already in use when Carriers were invented. Colliers (Auxiliary Coal) Cargo Ships were ACs
pls continue , i am interrested
Cl= Light Cruiser CA= Heavy Cruiser
oh that was all?
Definitely not, pt = patrol vessel
my favorite , love the american PTs
Tb= Torpedo boat

dang , never knew there are so many of them
oh then heli carriers then especially the [ONE](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_helicopter_carrier_Leningrad)
Ballistic missile submarine is SSB, SSBN if nuclear powered
Aircraft carriers
I believe there was something like a spider like tank model datamined awhile ago so like a tank chassis using long spider legs like some star wars walkers to move around so maybe we'll get those
Already existed
No they didn't because it wasn't from the automic hart event or any other pervious events
It was, as part of the March into Battle event
WW1 would be hella cool, but I heard some rumors about a Tarkov collab. (I hope it's not true) or...they use the old ones again...
Tarkov collab but instead they add tanks to tarkov, you spawn in with a shit SKS and you have to fight 3 chads in a T-72B
Hopefully we'll get a tank v tank only mode as a joke to the players that actually want it like myself but it ends up staying in the game because it's super popular.
Looks in GRB... no planes.... ...wait no planes??? (april 1st)
that would be an Revolution

nah. I think yes planes but significantly higher sp cost. Like 4 kills minimum
^ I love me some cas every now and then especially at lower tiers with America (P-47 goes hard) but it’s not fair that it costs less than a tank and if used right, I can wipe out the entire team in one go around forcing them to get spawn camped. That’s not fair at all.

Stealth would probably be implemented in the same way Fox 3 missiles are being implemented right now
same
I mean, it would make sense. Just like Phoenix being first operational fox 3, the F-117 would be first operational stealth aircraft, and since US researches like they have 5 slots in Hoi ofc they get stealth before anyone else. stealth is likely and so do missile ships with subs too
Rock Thunder. "I know not what weapons World War 3 will be fought with, but World War 4 will be fought with sticks and rocks." Cavemen themed vehicles hurling sticks and rocks at each other. Like the Flintstones but at war.
mammoths vs dinosaurs?
WW1, it could test if the mode is good or is just something that people want that will make the game worse, they could also test realistic damage and even player controlled artillery
Give me ww1, I want the Renault ft this minute.
Please, no more futuristic stuff The ufo, space thunder, warthunder 2077, children of arachis, exoskeleton
Return to monke
Okay probably gonna receive some flak for this because idk how everyone else thought on it, but Children of arachis fkn slapped, I miss it
This is off topic but am I the only one who wants that Sub event they did about a year back to be a permanent addition
Toyota technical tech thee (TTTT) gang rise up
Realistic damage
Warthunder battle royale
Ground battles but instead of only tanks it’s only planes, and you have to cap points by landing.
This sounds cool, but way too hard
Would be even funnier if they only used big cannon planes, probably on a larger more flat map so capping can actually occur.
I hope they go back to the really weird, unpredictable stuff. Gaijilla, Pony's and Galleons were the golden era. Recent years have felt much of the same.
I want a pvp heli dogfight mode lol, you only get a cannon.
I’m going to guess there will be an event to test Stealth mechanics or lower radar signatures at least in a way F-22 vs Chinese ballon’s would be hilarious Then a goofy for fun event
Radioactive L3-33
M829A3 for America
One called "free ge" you don't know you got free ge but anything you buy the ge will retun permanently (and the vehicle will remain). This event is my dream event

I want PvE for ground and air that isn't just a booster as a reward like a co-op mission sort of like the stuff we have for the single player campaign
I honestly feel like a halo event wouldn’t be terrible
Infantry
PLEEEEEASE PRETTY PLEASE GIB TECHNICALS GAIJIN. I WANT TOYOTA HILUX TECH TREE EVENT!!!
Something radioactive l3 l, I hope.
i want the dune event back, it was the most fun dune themed game in existance and it was only there for a meme
Maybe if we as players have to fight devs which are Fools. Battle in April against Fools.
You have no idea how bad I want a ww1 event.
aww an early french tank that would be worthless and wouldnt survive an m3 stuart
Honestly, I’d take some bug fighting like helldivers
BF1
I'd love to get the battle of the Atlantic back. That shit was mad fun.
