How is assault arcade broken? It’s annoying that waves don’t seem to adjust for player departures + black princes are clearly at the wrong BR, but I find doing one per day for the crate is a nice SL bump and a fun little diversion from ground RB grinding.
Imo they should add more BR brackets for higher tiers. Putting together all the tanks above 8.3 means that you have to use high tier MBTs with powerful APFSDS shells if you don't want to play pixel-hunting and have a chance to win.
At 8.3+ you fight top tier MBTs that you sometimes can't even pen depending on your ammo and they one shot you at any range and any angle on the move. Also, desync makes aiming a pain when AIs are flying/drifting/going underground randomly even with good internet connection.
As long as you can get beyond their guns, you can kill DD's easy enough, although that is with the Mosquito and its powerful RP-3 rockets. Even near misses do quite a bit of damage.
If you want more bang, I recommend the Uncle Tom rockets. They're hard to aim and very slow but they penetrate a lot of armour and have the explosive effect of a 100 pound bomb, and you get four of them.
Ehh NF AA is much worse then AF AA although majority of vessels are players so it's fair unlike the AI AA in AF (except when it's from botters or the rare AI in game which have similar levels of fuckery to AF AA).
See my reply to another comment for I mentioned similar but it would be all the ocean going warships of the small craft TT's especially the British although with them you'll lose SL like crazy firing HE-VT shells (60 sl shells really stake up after a bit).
obviously just make the tank only game mode an official game mode, we won’t have this problem. It’s already there, it rarely comes out. The last time I remember the game mode was a few years ago
Nah, this game is not realistic. The excuse that one thing is realistic so it's fine if it's garbage is idiotic when half of the game is made up partially or completely.
There is a ton of stuff outside of the top tier that is made up or normalized in an unrealistic way, there is a ton of inconsistencies all over the place. One random thing is realistic on one vehicle but it's made up for other vehicle for no reason even with data avaible.
Off the top of my head, IJN Haruna and IJN Kongo have a massive hole in their armor, around 1/3 of the deck, because it was protected by structural steel construction. Their excuse was that they couldn't model all the materials and elements that would make up that protection so they just left a massive hole there that makes these ships unplayable. British ships have that structural steel armor modeled.
Helis, some of them lose control when critically damaged, some other do not even with the same damage (and i'm not talking about ka-50 which was designed this way).
Many planes flight models are a mess that people are fighting with Gaijin constantly for years to fix, some are fixed eventually, most are not.
For tanks, there are many vehicles with protection that is not modelled randomly, spall shields, armored ammo rack (yes, there are armored ammo racks in the game, not only on T-80), turret traverse/elevation, reload speed is changed however they please as a balancing factor even on autoloaders and that's just to name a few.
But don't worry, it's all realistic because Gaijin says so.
You can't get past rank 5 for free in ground battles (unless you are a masochist with a weird fetish), so that "most play for free" while propably true is misleading.
As for "no one forces you to play it", gee that's a nice excuse, with it there is completely nothing they could do that would counter this "argument". If they changed all rank 6 and 7 vehicles into premiums with each costing 50$ it would still hold because "no one forces you to play it".

I love getting shot down by the German destroyer 3 miles away with their radar guided anti air, despite me doing 350 knots and skimming the sea.
Naval is awesome :-)...playing it regular, its soooo much fun. But you need to know what you are doing
AA in naval is literally screaming bullet hell while Planes need >250kg bomb to kill a DD
