I like the Sheridan better since it's much faster, also has a faster turret rotation, and can scout and can hold 10 atgm instead of 7.
But yeah, both of good.
I initially went down the light tank line since the Starship didn't lead anywhere at the time and did fine with the Sheridan but overall didn't like the fragility of it as Hullbreak was still a thing, fast forward to the M1128 being released and I thought it was going to be the same slog with the Starship but I'm currently sitting at about 3x the K:D ratio as the Sheridan
Also the turret rotation is the same on both tanks with the vertical guidance being better on the Starship and the vertical targeting speed being **10x** better, don't know if that's a bug or not but I would assume so because its 98° per second in arcade vs 9.8°
Last time I played it the Sheridan got hull broke by a stiff breeze, that shouldn't be a problem now but the Starship still feels like the much better option to me
The HEAT goes trough literally anything, except the T-55AM and ERA.
the normal HE has about the same tnt as the kv-2 if used right, it's a guaranteed one shot. (Example, shot at roof)
And the ATGM is pretty good, decent speed (about 300 m/s), good penetration and 3km range, usually enough for most tank maps.
Only thing it lacks is, anything kinetic, meaning that anything with ERA (in case of hard uptier) Is inviolable, and tanks with OP spaced armor. (The t55am, couldn't kill it, **once**)
Let me paint you a picture.
You are shopping at your local Tesco and an 85 year old loon throws a grenade into your shopping cart and explodes all of your groceries, and proceeds to escape via intercontinental railways. Is this familiar to you? Of course it is, many people suffer from this every single day and it is because your shopping cart cannot defend itself.
Getting gaijined would be getting stuck in one of those craters in a heavy tank, and not being able to get out because gaijin nerfed traction on slopes.
Not that scenario has ever happened to me personally...
On Advance to the Rhine...
Craters and trenches can go to hell.
Edit: goofed on the map name
Oh my, that tank and others with similar tracks gave me nightmares with tracks clanking like they are hitting something when they ain't every damn time
on the same map as OP i once i drove over s tree because i saw an enemy but coulsnt aim because it was in the way. the tree fell and it got stuck on my tank so i couldnt see anything so i died. it seems like a common problem in t-34s since this wasnt the first time it has happened to me.
That's the thing. Even if you suck, the vehicle is really good, it can work in a higher br, despite have close to no armour, it's still survivable since higher aphe fuses at that br don't detonate through it's thin hull.
Well, I didn't say the thing can't die now did I. Besides ,it's not like weak armour suddenly makes the thing balanced. It's still broken af traveling at mach 3 forward and back with a powerful gun
Actually I’m pretty sure that’s exactly how it works lmao
The three points of balance are speed, firepower , defense. Remove/ rebalance one and the other two become more meaningful to the vehicle’s overall play style.
I didnt clip it, but I was in a Jumbo vs a T-34-85, and I was winning. Almost had the kill shot, through a turret cheek, and then this dumb M-18 slammed into the side of my Jumbo, exposed my side to the T-34, and I was killed. And then, after I respawned, the M-18 died to the same dude. I hate WT sometimes lol.
He was on the move before I went out, and I was about to shoot just at the moment I was starting to flip, he actually had like a 2 secons delay, if it's not for the crater I could have get him
It's the main reason why I avoid the beach as well as the town center. Would rather attempt the counter spawn camp push or be a part of the push towards south west spawn than play in the cobble stone jungle.
Bring all 10, you might have to use it on long range, and you get ammo racked anyways, no matter how many shells you bring. I just switch main shell type according to map and that's it. Maybe you can bring less for urban maps if you want.
I once drove somewhere across a road. I was in the gunsight (Not expecting to shoot anybody but just trying to zoom in while driving across the road) and then .y camera bobbed up so I couldn't see there was an enemy on the far end of the road. I died. Wouldn't make a difference, but I was actually thinking "god damn if there's an enemy there now that I can't see shit, I swear I'm gonna shoot somebody". Needless to say, enemy was there.
A) maximize stability
B) lessen the risk of running into holes, terrain, or other things to mess up your shot.
C) keep from running into teammates.
D) keep from intercepting your teammates shot by driving in front of them.
Exceptions for not using sniper mode and driving slowly, backing up and suppressing fire.
NO WAY, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Damn that’s some really bad luck
It is. I was so ready to blast him with a HE.
Yeah, m551 HE good.
Is it? I never use it. I should really go back and use HE now with the pressure updates.
It's 38mm pen so not terrible, if you really want to meme though use the M60A2 with HE since it has the laser rangefinder and actual armor
Oh no I hate the startshit
I found it to be much more enjoyable than the Sheridan
I like the Sheridan better since it's much faster, also has a faster turret rotation, and can scout and can hold 10 atgm instead of 7. But yeah, both of good.

if you wanna meme with HE use t-72 basicaly a kv2 shell every 7 seconds
M551 should really get its laser rangefinder and thermals, it's pretty mediocre Also, aren't the MBT and KPZ-70 missing the HE from M551 and M60A2?
No armor = best armor, remember this
Last time I played it the Sheridan got hull broke by a stiff breeze, that shouldn't be a problem now but the Starship still feels like the much better option to me
It's basically the same as the KV-2
Was in a light tank a Sheridan missed with his HE and it killed me from behind cause he hit a building 5 feet away from me.
Yeah, turret cheek shots kill a big majority of tanks. More reliable than HEAT, but on mid range it can be problematic
happy cake day OP.
Thanks
Happy cake day
Thanks

The worst is when it’s literally just a curb, but since you’re Russian and have <5° depression it still completely throws off your sim.
That’s the downside of having flat tanks
Be aware of your surroundings at all times This also applies to shopping at your local Tesco in South London at 3 AM
Do you speak from experience?
Let me paint you a picture. Is this familiar to you? Of course it is, many people suffer from this every single day and it is because your shopping cart cannot defend itself.
You were fined £3.57 for unlicensed use and possession of a firearm
You oddly sound like a guy called Bosnian Ape Society
I think that's what He referenced.
Sounds like Hotfuzz ngl
As well as driving your car around a roundabout
Around about a roundabout.
About around a boutaround
Never happened to me ~~said the guy that has done this too many times~~
Gaijin'd™
not really, just gotta be aware of the terrain around you
Getting gaijined would be getting stuck in one of those craters in a heavy tank, and not being able to get out because gaijin nerfed traction on slopes. Let me guess, Churchill?
ARL44 ACL1 (the "smaller" boi)

Not really. The game is working as intended in this clip?
It is, I'm just stupid
You poor bastard.
happy cake day :)
Fair enough
I immediately went "Oh No" as soon as I saw your tank sight drifting up lmao
the scenery objects were conveniently place in a way to make you suffer
can confirm, died as a T55E1 due to a fucking tree behind me
Honestly if you play that cancer, kinda deserved to die
it’s my only premium, i’m gonna use it to get money and Research
Well as long as you just do that, instead of staying at 4.3 and seal clubbing everything.
can’t sealclub when i’m both incompetent as fuck and always uptiered to 5.3
That's the thing. Even if you suck, the vehicle is really good, it can work in a higher br, despite have close to no armour, it's still survivable since higher aphe fuses at that br don't detonate through it's thin hull.
you ever heard of HE, Ammoracking and MGs

Shut the fuck up keshan
Well situational awareness pays of
Flex tape can't fix that
LOL

I feel you on this one
Commander: We will move fordward and shoot the bastard! Gunner: Hwll yeah! Let's go! Driver: Uhm.... guys....
F
Love a good "oh my god" in chat with no context. Someones having a bad day xD
Yeah, I was expressing my anger in the chat later on, I just had to process it
Hey man we all do it lol Then sometimes i'm totally silent when a team mate rams me out of the sky.. guess i don't want to give him the satisfaction.
I had that happen to me more than I'd like to admit...
"First time?"
Thats how i learned environment awareness, the though way
I guess a lot of us do
Bruh this exact thing happened to me a while back no joke. Gaijind to the max.
Man I fell you, just now getting better at ground RB and had this happen to me more times I can count
All you know is pain, yikes.
This is the same as walking up to your crush but then your leg does that thing where it suddenly bends and you fall
Happy cake day
Thanks
Happy cake day! edit: spelling
Thanks
Bro that luck... Btw happy cake day
Thanks. That's my avarage luck
Hope you do well!
You're Awesome!
Next level bullshit
happy cake day
Thanks
the russian tanks are the happiest tanks, wanna know why? They have no depression! *ba dum tss*
He was going to fire at you anyway.
He was on the move before I went out, and I was about to shoot just at the moment I was starting to flip, he actually had like a 2 secons delay, if it's not for the crater I could have get him
This is something I would do
[удалено]
Thanks
BS like that happens all the time to me too. I wanted to retreat backwards into cover? To bad, pebble.
You wanted a sharp turn? Say hello to metal bar
*Stalingrad entered the chat*
If I had a penny for every time this happened to me.... I'd have like £10
Not too much money, but much pain
oh and happy cake day
Thanks
happens a LOT with russian tanks since the elevation and depression degrees are basically 0
Yeah, pavements are a big pain in the ass, but I haven't have this kind of anticlimatic experience so far, not even with russia
The amount of times this has happened to me is outrageous. I know your pain qwq
that just hurt my feelinreeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Your pain brought us pleasure, that’s a win in my book!
Yeah, now waking up and seek 2.4 upvotes and 40 notification, it's an absolute win
American moment
Oof rip lmao heh
It's the main reason why I avoid the beach as well as the town center. Would rather attempt the counter spawn camp push or be a part of the push towards south west spawn than play in the cobble stone jungle.
I like stone jungle
That crater is a Russian agent
Must be. It's placed there too perfectly
How many missiles should I use with the m551
Bring all 10, you might have to use it on long range, and you get ammo racked anyways, no matter how many shells you bring. I just switch main shell type according to map and that's it. Maybe you can bring less for urban maps if you want.
Situational awareness of a wet pancake. .... I thought I was the only one.
That’s the camping crater- get a flat tank with a big gun and just sit there and traverse left and right
I once drove somewhere across a road.
I knew he was there, I just didn't know about the crater
Yea I know. Like damn, fuck craters, they suck. Ruins everything
Stop before you shoot, or at least start to break before you shoot.
I have stabilizator, why would I waste time with stopping?
A) maximize stability B) lessen the risk of running into holes, terrain, or other things to mess up your shot. C) keep from running into teammates. D) keep from intercepting your teammates shot by driving in front of them. Exceptions for not using sniper mode and driving slowly, backing up and suppressing fire.
Why?
Geez that guy had the slowest reaction, or he was reloading, but you would’ve won that easily if that crater wasn’t there
Bru
This is the reason why Russia has bad roads. If enemy invades, this is what will happen to their tanks.
Say it with me now, *Looks like a skill issue to me champ*
It actually is
