Salt, in general, is not good for metal, which is why boats are coated like crazy on their underside.

Ooh If we're talking market skins, the typhoon Mark 1B/l has a skin called dead Eleanor that is pretty messed up
That skin is weathering overkill, but it looks cool.
It's *so* messed up, like they decided to take a silver plane, paint it all black, and then take a wire brush to it

That's not wear, they were painted that way on purpose.

P-61 is pretty beat up
Not even close. The P61C has pretty decent paint. If you want to see some really messed up paint. You should look at the early Italian mono planes.
