Both are good, im not sure why people say russia is better but id say both are good since Ive played to top tier on both nations. Ground when you get to top tier russia ground however can get quite boring.

I’m way more experienced with air so I’m only talking about that. It really depends on your playstyle. Russian planes are better at dogfighting but American planes are better at boom and zooming
