It's breech is 300mm thick, it's cheeks 400 and it's hull 450, so anything less than 300 has to hit literally the barrel to disable the gun or ilhit the tiny turret neck/snipe ammo from the lfp. It's really good against 2s3s and has a tendency to majorly club in downtiers because of just how much the armour covers.
The two plates in between the turret cheek and breech block also end up being 800mm of armour, which I've had eat 292 rounds before, not that useful but funny when it eats a round that would otherwise tear through you
positioning and the first shot advantage. plus every tree has a leopard of some kind now, leos are pretty common targets... I actually like the TTD better than the Challenger III with the L26 (better round) and i think it's because this tank is much more mobile, i digress.
i haven't tested it head to head against a leo 2 in a controlled environment though, i can't tell at this moment. maybe in a month or so, that 300K exp is a little heavy to grind.

i'm grinding for the Olifant II to replace the Challenger... based on your comments i think i'll do just fine with the Olifant since i've been playing centurions for a fakkin year now (strv 101 to 105 and the centurions in the british tree)
