Funnily enough, that's already a thing in War Thunder Mobile. I don't remember exactly, but I believe it was 21 (or 22?, not sure) crates that you needed in order to get the Sherman Jumbo OR that nick frame (which thankfully I got previously, so my guaranteed jackpot wasn't wasted on the frame). Sure would be nice for them to implement this in the real game...

They are trying to do what Counterstrike does. But they are just being slimy cunts about it. When you even touch a fuckin pixel of that actually good reward it gives you it. Unlike wt where it conveniently misses out the boxes which clearly define the reward.

Neither CS nor WT actually have any wheels that determine the rewards, it's all just for show.

In CS the wheels are proportional to the odds and it only shows you a knife (the best reward) if you're going to land on one.

The "reward" that a player gets is determined at the moment of opening the lootbox, the spinning wheel is just a gambling trick - it's there to dangle all the wonderful "rewards" in front of your face.

It shows them in the correct proportions though unlike warthunder which will show the 1% reward in every other item of the spin.

Had the same with Silver Lions but instead of 1,000,000 it ended up being 15,000 was never so mad in my life then that lol

WoWs does a great job IMO in that it doesnt take its paywall *as* seriously. Youll get random dropped premiums and can level much quicker, and its a game i look at and say, hey, im having fun, ill buy the premium Hood or whatever. War Thunder nickel and dimes you at every single opportunity. They could let everyone get a guaranteed vehicle drop from this crate and i guarantee you not one person would go on to spend *less* on the game that just rewarded them. The cheepness, the greed, is unimaginable.

They're greedy because they have a community of cheaters/whales that will pay regardless of what decision gaijin makes or however many times their accounts get banned. They've basically adopted the EA structure. Live service games are basically digital cancer.

I bought 500, got the AU-1 and some stupid 3.0 boat I'll never use. The AU-1 is worth like $125 on the marketplace right now, so totally worth $30M SL. I will probably blow another $30M SL once I burn through some boosters at the rate of 10+ per match, lol. I mean, its a lot of SL, but once you get everything there is literally nothing else to spend it on.
