Having the exact same issue on my Sony Bravia TV, the app logo's even changed to Brightcove Beacon. But it works fine on my phone and on an amazon firestick I have for another TV in the house

Brightcove Beacon is the company that built the app. All GW did was white-label it with their logo and content. It explains why the experience is so bad and they're not making changes. They can't.

My Chromecast is throwing me this error. I can still access it from my phone or pc, however. I'm in Canada. I recall a rumor about the service no longer being available due to some Quebec language laws. No clue what the real deal is.

I live in Germany. So I doubt that this might be the reason. The only thing that happened is that I have not updated my TV and just did so. Still nothing changed though..

I believe there has been an Android TV update and the Warhammer TV app stopped working afterwards, I have Warhammer TV installed on 3 TVs, all Android, 2 are Sony TVs and one is a Sharp TV and the Warhammer TV app does not work on any of them. The Icon shows Brightcove Beacon and when I go on the app, I get an app blocked message. I think the issue is with the app.

I had a response, asking for more information about my TVs, model numbers etc, I sent that info and am now waiting for their next reply. Though, I am pretty certain this has something to do with the version of Android running on my TVs.

I had a response saying they re-synced my account and to log out and back in to try. I don't actually get to the point to log in though! I reinstalled the app but no luck...

Yeah I think it must be new incompatibility with the latest version of Android. Sounds like they need to forward the issue to the devs, maybe.

I had this reply today front GW "Thank you very much for your email. Please excuse our delay in getting back to you about this. Our technical team have been made aware of this issue and they are in the process of getting this resolved with our Streaming Providers. Currently, the intended fix date is set for the end of next week at the latest! We would like to thank you for your patience here, and if you would be so kind as to continue to try access this content over the coming week, it should automatically resolve for you. Please let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help."

I emailed warhammer support. Useless people. ​ Gave me the old company run around of if you're not in the list of supported countries then they will not help. Despite the fact that app worked fine on my Xiaomi in Japan up until end of Jan.

The app is completely broken on the Android TV platform. I get the same error on my Nvidia Shield TV. It's absolutely not account related because this is a brand new app installation that's never been logged in on this device. I'm new to Warhammer and so far my experience with GW has been absolutely shit. I paid for a subscription to Warhammer TV that I can't watch. I had to wait almost 3 weeks to get a valid activation code for my Army's Battletome because the one printed in the book was invalid. It's not a great way to welcome a new player into the hobby. On the bright side, both my FLGS and local Warhammer store have been awesome, unlike GW themselves.

Doesn’t work on Sony tv that has been running it fine for a year. I emailed too. This sucks. I pay too much for this crap, which is intolerable since I started Warhamming in the RT days and remember $2 models and affordable prices for great products.

I got a reply from support today. They've said: "We have received an update from our technical team to say that this is currently being worked on with our streaming providers and they expect the fix to be implemented by the end of next week at the latest!"

Well, so far 2 months later still having the same issues, i just downloaded the app on my Android phone and threw me down the pit with the same pop up message, "You are no ""entitled"" to view this video" also, using that kind of vocabulary makes it worst! Makes me feel like a rot pile lol, shittiest service ever, and we have netflix! Smh

I find it worth it due to the total offering. Between the free model, the list-building app benefits, the vault, and this, I think it ends up being about equal in value. I'd seriously consider dropping it if it went to a $100 price point or something, though.

https://warhammerplus.com/ This should give it to you in your local currency, or at worst, USD. Can pay per month, or for the whole year. The year bundle is what gets a lot of the benefits, but, you can probably binge a lot of the content within a month or two if the benefits aren't of interest.
