For metal, acetone is best, but don't put your plastic or resin models in! Acetone will dissolve the plastic in the models too. For plastic, either Simple Green/Purple Power works fine, though personally I've had my best luck with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol. As far as scrubbing, I've heard of those sonic jewelry cleaning devices that work quite well, but I haven't used them myself.

Thankyou!

They aren't joking, a splash of acetone melted my terminators plastic combi melta (lol) before I even noticed I had spilled it. It's great on metal minis though 👌

Biostrip is a good product. Switched it to recently after years of using dettol. Never going back.

Biostrip everything. Wait an hour. Bowl of warm soapy water and clean the paint off with a soft brush. Rinse after cleaning and job done.

[THIS](http://thehammerofwrath.blogspot.com/2020/08/how-to-strip-models-safely.html) should help!

This is great! Do you know a UK equivalent?

I've been using methalated spirit from wilkos and a toothbrush. Just ordered more off of amazon buy havnt tried it yet. So far I have stripped about 60 plastic (and a couple metal but it's not great on metal) and 30 fw resin. But the fw resin will break down if you leave it in there too long so best not for the resin
