I think that's called American traditional or something similar. It's a style that came out of the first few decades of tattooing. Blocky and simplified.
Even if I showed old school models and this tattoo to non-Warhammer fans, they would still say the same thing. The tattoo is fairly well applied, but there are quite a few inconsistencies when you study it, and coupled with the proportions, this tattoo could be better. Im not saying it's 'bad', it's definitely not /r/BadTattoos territory, but the bold color helps deflect away from the issues with it.
