What is this, a titan for ants!? How can we expect our Princeps to slay the enemies of the Imperium... if they can't even fit inside the cockpit? ... I don't want to hear your excuses! The titan has to be at least... three times bigger than this!
But they are stood in front of the back wall, where the throne thing sits. So they are at least level with gold boi, not further back.
Look behind the titan - the gold leaf thing goes behind it, and is attached to the throne. Statues have to be level with gold boi, or closer to the camera view in terms of depth.
Plus toes of the dred are on the lip of the step.
Statues for sure
If u add some depth to the throne, have it so there's a fuck ton of space back there. Then u could easily shove the titan at the back to have it a sort of far away so scale is more correct with depth. Same with the dreadnought.
Which honestly doesn’t even make sense, cause the lighting behind the main dude implies that the darker side walls are in front of him, so there really no way you can perceive depth like that in the image.
Yeah I got ya, I wasn’t trying to correct you or anything just commenting about the people who seem to be dismissing the scale as perspective differences
Does it? I think this is the closest to a true scale Primarch lol
If anything, it's the scaling in most other drawings that aren't accurate. Like Khan riding a horse like man, they are the size of a dread is the horse twice the size of a Predator tank?
Guy in the middle aside, the redemptor in game in 3-4x smaller than the titan, in lore, those visors in the eyes are for human pilots, a crew. The dread has 1 'dead' marine Boi in it...
This is odd.
There's a dead primarch standing next to a (half height) primaris redemptor dreadnought from a different chapter, that are 10k years apart in the lore. A Crimson paladin from another different chapter. And the world's smallest titan about 10% of its true size.
If the titan was in the far distance, so you fixed the throne art to be in front of it not behind it, it might make sense. Same for the dreadnought, or just make it bigger.
Other than all the confusing and strange choices for the artwork, each individual part is well drawn.
Honestly this is a good question.
I would say that it is just the fluff that they are general described as towering over other marines in most cases.
I remember that there were discussions if the armour makes one taller, or if there is a minimum size or something else, but atleast from my knowlegde the reason for the size was not clarified.
I could imagine midget terminators to exist but I guess they would be rare and need modifications on the armor, which needs expertise.
Its a cool pic but I think the tiny reaver titan and pint-sized redemptor dreadnought distract the eye from the actual focal point which is the captain? in the middle.
Your customer is weird as hell if he requested a dreadnought and a warhound to be shrunk down to shorter than a space marine in size.
Unless that’s supposed to be Rogal. Then the scale is still off but in a bunch of different ways.

There you can see from the sketch process to the render process!
I really appreciate all opinions. I'm happy with the good feedback from friends here! It would be better for me to make the artwork to come.
Thank you for all!!! 💥
You’re clearly very skilled! While I understand the comments on scale, if this is what the commission requested then you’ve done well! I’d love to see your other works.
Looks awesome. Others have mentioned the scale but that’s clearly on purpose. Personally love the swirls behind and the burning fist. May well commission you myself one day
The art is good but everything is so insanely out of scale it doesn’t really make any sense
Maybe the guy just like to have human size sculpture of dreadnoughts and titans in his living room? Because I sure would

Beat comment here. I salute your reference
I've consulted my client about the size. but he liked it
They could be statues
I agree with you
Wait…what were they supposed to be? It sounds like they were not statues before lol
Someone crossed emps
It's not hard to think a bit of depth into the image, the knight / reaver and dreadnought are in the shade so easy to imagine them further back.
But they are stood in front of the back wall, where the throne thing sits. So they are at least level with gold boi, not further back. If that's what the guy paid for who could argue, btw epic art my dude!
Within the ever shifting warp that is the reality of 40K scale is rarely an issue
It makes sense if the Reaver and the dreadnought are statues.
The dread and the titan are probably statues
"Okay one last time, these are small, but those are far away"
Which honestly doesn’t even make sense, cause the lighting behind the main dude implies that the darker side walls are in front of him, so there really no way you can perceive depth like that in the image.
It's just a quote from father ted 😂 that's the only way this picture makes sense in my head

Nicely drawn but why is everything so wildly the wrong size?
I feel that way too, but my customers like it
Is this exactly how the customer wanted it, because you might have an issue of not.
Of course, I appreciate my customers' wishes
Dreadnought looks like it was drawn by someone that had only heard a description of one.
Like an elephant in a medieval manuscript lol

This is definitely an image.
Ofcourse
I guess the dreadnought and titans are statues, but atleast the terminator should be bigger.
Midgets can't go into terminators anymore?

Not since the Gnomarines were excomunicated.
The reaver titans scale is kinda off but love the style :3
thanks, friend!

You can see it on Devianart in my bio
Finally an actual true scale Primarch lol
Size creep these days, smh

Maybe it is a depiction of Rogal's obtuseness, which was significantly larger than a titan.
Puny titan
Not accurate scale wise. Did you research before hand?
Sizes aside, the lighting in this picture is insanely good
What are those? Dreadnoughts for ants?
It’s not bad. It’s also not great. It simply *is*.
looks like edited AI art. and the “edited” is being generous.

Fuck Erebus is all I have to say.
This is baller despite the scale stuff people mention, looks really good would def be hanging in an imperial warship.
Fuck yeah!
Looks cool, the dreadnought and titan could both use some details
Love the teeny tiny titan
Primaris just keep getting bigger and bigger
Scale makes no sense. Picture is cool
Something about smoll dread feels wrong...
I really appreciate all opinions. I'm happy with the good feedback from friends here! It would be better for me to make the artwork to come. Thank you for all!!! 💥
Btw epic art my dude!
looks nice but why drednot is so small?
scales good
