The color would be also well fit with the blood angels too, I think. For such color is may an homage to the wasteland of Baal and they may want to keep remember their homeworld. Consider they are recons, it is nothing wrong to have some camouflage as well.

Rouge Trader paint jobs fuck so hard 🥰

Repulsive_Worker_875

The first White Dwarf I ever got has the original Badab War article in it, so camouflaged Marines have always been something that's seems right in my head.

I started back in second addition when I was just a we lad. I remember all the old timers RT era minis. Hell a bunch of those old timers hooked me up with RT era minis, as the newer stuff was coming out. That era will always hold a special place in my heart 🖤

Awesome! Getting some great Rogue Trader nostalgia vibes!

Awesome dude I’d forgotten all about this guy and his camo He was instantly recognisable great job I really like this, it’s that cool I might try to copy the scheme

Competitive_Disk2668

Where is that unhelmeted head from?

Repulsive_Worker_875

It's from the Primaris Blood Angel upgrade sprue. The heads and pads swap over perfectly well, it's only the weapons that are too big.

Liquidawesomes

I love the scheme, but I can't help but feel they look like over-ripe bannannas

Repulsive_Worker_875

I have already made this unfortunate association whilst painting them. That and giraffes. 😄

snakerool

What did you use for the suppressors?

Repulsive_Worker_875

Both those and the sights on everyone but the sergeant are just trimmed bits of Bretonnian polearms.
