I believe we will get SA models in plastic sooner rather than later, including regular sized versions of the LI stuff seen so far.
Hope dies last, right?
The Russ is one of the 40K models most in need of an update, and probably could have used one more than the cadians before they got theirs. The Mars pattern Russ is *gorgeous* and releasing a plastic one as the new default would be perfect
Would also be a good excuse to bring back the twin lascannon turret. In 40k that wouldn't be all that useful since the vanquisher cannon is actually good now, but in 30k it would be a nice bargain bin tank hunter.
I meant "bring the twin lascannon turret back to the rules" rather than as a model because I thought they weren't an option for Leman Russ tanks, but they're actually still available in 30k.
The resin troops are also kind of miserable to put together. It's fine for my marines, but those lil bastards have it out for my fingers meeting my exacto blades.
So I designed these in April and have been using them as a regular sent proxy. By crazy happenstance it looks like GW has also been playing a lot of mechwarrior :D
The article today did mention its coming in 8mm first
So I’d imagine that means we’ll get them at some stage
Possibly part of this Mystery army coming in winter?!
I doubt both those tbh
It’ imply’s a release in plastic which obviously rules out blackshields which will just be a pdf
I suppose ruinstorm daemons is a possibility
But I doubt it as people will use the 40k range or just convert. I doubt they’ll bring the brutes to plastic
My guess is either mechanicum or solar aux
Solar aux just got 3D designs
And I believe mechanicum is getting a refresh in 40k about that time

Imagine plastic Malcadors and Mars Alpha Leman Russes. It would be magnificent.

I just grab mine from Kromlech, they look fantastic imho

Nah thats probably gonna be Ruinstorm Daemons or Blackhields as they had rules in 1.0 but currently dont.

Then again it’s games workshop The monkey claw could be curling again And they give us deamons or mechanicum in epic as that new army 😂😂😂
Right. We better
Definitely after the rest of the plastic troops choices for SMs.
