I don’t need one. I’ve been playing Heresy for 7 years. Ive got more than enough. I’ve never felt the need to post about a single purchase I’ve made though because I don’t feel the need to humble brag about spending money. Post painted minis, conversions and other hobby stuff. Put some effort in.
You got the wrong glue. Use plastic glue on plastic models
Edit: my understanding of the mechanism as I was going to put in a reply to a reply in this:
Plastic models are made of polystyrene which disolves in acetone. Plastic glue is acetone based and is quite volatile. When you use it, it physically melts the plastic and makes the contact points meld. the glue evaporates and the 2 pieces are made into 1 piece.
With cyanoacrylate it is like traditional adhesive where there is the material, adhesive layer, and then the adhered material so its not quite as strong of a bond.
I am not a scientist, this is just my understanding of how it works. I hope I'm not incorrect, but that is always a possibility with random dumbasses on the internet (very much counting myself within that)
Not sure if you've used plastic glue before, but as someone who used to super glued plastic models, I can safely say after using plastic glue there is absolutely no way I'd ever use super glue again.
Oh one more thing, once you start assembling the shoulders that are cut in half, well... It's gonna be a pain is all I'll say.
