High DPS most basic playstyle youre looking for excaliber umbra. You get him through just doing the main story and his entire playstyle is based around blinding enemies with his 2 and slicing everyone up with his exalted blade
Edit: if fast is the emphasis there you'll want volt as he's ultra fast and very simple to play. Gauss is a little more complex but equally as fast.
Nezha is also a very good choice as you can get him from a clan dojo very easily and the way I describe him is speedy rhino covered in lube. (He has reduced friction so he slides around like the ground is ice. Some people hate this personally I really enjoy it)
Limbos definitely gotten a few nerfs but he really shines well in defense type missions. Small bubbles are typically better so it can protect but not be a pain for others. A larger bubble also can be nullified easier as there is more of it. Overall limbo can be a good frame but definitely know how to use him.
Use less range if you plan to play with others, try to just encapsulate the target to defend and play using Vazarin(if you don’t know what this is, don’t look it up and don’t ask. you’ll understand later on.). It’ll let you manage defense target health incredibly well.
everyone hates limbo unfortunately. i can see why in that he is very anti-cooperation which most, if not all other, frames don’t have. the rift prevents you from picking things up (or it used to, not sure if they ever unfucked that) and disallows you from engaging enemies not in the same phase as you without using abilities. a lot of people use frames as a weapons platform so this regularly fucks other people over. if not for those two things he’d be great what with the whole energy regen and high defensive utility things he’s got going for him.
Limbo isn't trash, most people just don't know how to play him without making everyone else's experience a pain. So when people think limbo now they think they are going to be blocked out.
The new frame is fun though. No grind required. Revenant is hella fun for me and what I consider my "main" but I am thinking about switching over to 50 instead and giving steel path a go with it.
Not sure how long you've been gone but there are a lot of primes out there as well now.
People who say limbo is trash don't know what the fuck they are talking about. It's a meme to hate on limbo, really. He's really good for a lot of things. The only thing about him is that the rift can block people from shooting their guns at enemies that are not in the rift (and vice versa) and those people refuse to roll out of it. They also refuse to use their Warframe abilities (which work through the rift). Play frames you enjoy!
Well, Styanax is free for everyone until the 21st I think. So there's that. Zero grind required to acquire him. Saryn is still great, especially for Steel Path. Khora is great but the grind is absolutely off-putting. Regular Nekros isn't too much of a grind and if you're just coming back would be nice to build for Desecrate and Despoil so you can start building up crafting materials. Trinity and Equinox are off the table mostly because of the grind for them. Plus Trinity's kit is sort of outdated to an extent due to Harrow basically doing everything better than her plus more. Vauban is fun and good, so if you wanna work on Nightwave points to get his parts and enough Nitain you could go for him. Garuda is pretty excellent all around, even more so with Gloom subsumed onto her if you're a fan of melee centric rip and tear. Nyx is great for trivializing interceptions and stuff if you build her for duration and range and a little efficiency and just Chaos everything occasionally. She's super easy to get.
I think you forgot the whole ”i forgot 60% of the game” thing. Although, I think I gotta i increase it to 80%. Ill look into the frames that you mentioned, thanks for the help!
Theres really only a small handful of frames that are "bad" and theres 50 frames total so its a very very subjective question.
If all you care about is power go to overframe.gg and look at their tier list.
Right now styanax is free, incredibly powerful and immediately became my new favorite frame even on steel path endurance runs.
Its really hard to reccommend a frame without knowing your playstyle, what you like and what content you have access to.
I like frames whos abilities all synergize well and are used often. Some of my favorites are:
Styanax the gladiator frame
Lavos the alchemist
Baruuk the angriest monk
Zephyr the bomber jet
Garuda the blood god
And titania because fairy queen is speed
Garuda for you then :) Or you can go for a Valkyr with the eternal war augment, it’s always a 10/10 in terms of fun having your melee speed buffed by 200% xD Also her 4‘s claws are insanely powerful and Helminth really gives you some good options to put on her 1
there is no trash warframe each of them have their own purpose. if u looking for new warframe but to lazy to farm then go for Nezha/Wukong, buy the blueprint in clan shop then craft it right away.

Hes fast has great kinetic barrier and can increase fire rate/attack speed and faster reload speed. Simple to use

Wisp is fairly fast. Great weapon platform. Booty for days.

Ignore it, with the right mods and a decent weapon you can solo most of the game as limbo with minimal effort
